Shinae Ann is a 28-year-old influencer, YouTuber, and TikToker from Australia.

Ann recently went public with her diagnosis of an incurable brain tumor, a grade 2 astrocytoma. The news came at a time when she was preparing for her wedding. From planning her future with her fiancé, she is now dealing with a medical condition that has no cure. The influencer has opened up about her journey on social media.

Through her posts and videos, she discusses her health, treatment, and its impact on her daily life. She has also spoken about her plans, including fertility treatment and postponing her wedding.


Shinae Ann opened up about her diagnosis in a recent YouTube video

Shinae Ann's story became public when she revealed her diagnosis on September 2, 2025, in a YouTube video.

She described the moment she found out about her diagnosis to Australian outlet, 9Honey, saying,

"When I saw her (Ann's friend) calling me, I thought I'd just pull up, chat to her and go into the [garage] afterwards," Shinae shared, recalling how she opted to park on the street outside her home so she could have better cell reception. "I'm really glad that I made that decision."

She also described the way the health issues began. Initially, she was seeing visions in her right eye and couldn't open her car door.

“Something was not right. I didn’t know where I was. I said to my friend, ‘Something is wrong with me,’” she recalled to the outlet.

After her fiancé took her to a hospital, Shinae Ann began having a seizure.

Shinae Ann's tests showed she had a grade 2 astrocytoma. Doctors told her that surgery could affect her memory, eyesight, and speech. She explained,

“It’s made its way into important parts of my brain that would affect speech, memory and eyesight, so that they can’t remove the tumour, which is why I’ll probably have it for forever.”

Shinae Ann has gained fame through YouTube and TikTok. It is on these platforms that she has been sharing her life as a young content creator. She relates with people through discussing her experiences and lifestyle content.

After her diagnosis, Shinae Ann got the tumor partially removed, as the doctors said it could not be completely removed. She is currently undergoing radiation and chemotherapy to deal with it. She has also discussed the possibility of the tumor returning in the future.

She is also going through fertility therapy to give her the option of having children in the future. Shinae continues to provide updates on her health on her social media channels.

In her video, she encouraged followers to attend medical checkups, particularly when they experience some persistent symptoms such as migraines, highlighting that it is important to know early.
