Why did bbno$ censor Asmongold in his latest music video ft. OTK? Complete drama explained

On May 29, 2025, Canadian rapper bbno$ released a new music video for his song “Mary Poppins.” But he censored the face of Asmongold, the well-known Twitch streamer, from the entire video. The video features members of the streaming group OTK (One True King). But fans quickly noticed something strange. Asmon had his face covered by a cartoon reptile. At the start of the video, there was a message. It said:

“At the time of recording, I was unaware of certain individuals' ethical beliefs. As a result, I've chosen to censor those whose values I do not support. Additionally, all funds generated by this video will be donated to the PCRF.”

This message explained why some people in the video were censored. It also said all the money from the video would go to PCRF (Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund). Why was Asmongold censored?

To understand why Asmongold was censored, we need to go back to something he said in October 2024. During a livestream, he made some comments about the Palestine-Israel conflict. The comments made a lot of people upset. His group, OTK, also asked him to step down from his leadership role. Because of all this, it seems bbno$ didn’t want Asmon to be seen in his music video. Even though the video had already been filmed, bbno$ decided to cover Asmon’s face using a cartoon image of a reptile.

Also, bbno$ added that he would donate the money from the video to the PCRF, which helps children in Palestine. This made many people think the censoring was clearly connected to Asmongold’s comments.

Asmongold's reaction to this situation

On May 30, 2025, Asmongold responded to the situation on X. Instead of getting angry, he made a joke about it.

In the music video, the cartoon image that covers his face has sharp teeth, so this was his way of making fun of it. Later, during a livestream, Asmon spoke more about the situation. He said he didn’t think being censored was a bad thing. He also said that this is one reason why he doesn't like collaborating with others anymore. He explained:

“In general, this is why, and you guys may or may not notice this. Right?
