Doherty told TMZ that the day felt endless. He said the first part of the process involved sitting in a small cell with a police officer for five hours. There was nothing to do and no way to pass the time.

According to him, “It was just me in a tiny room doing nothing.”

After that, he was taken for fingerprinting and a mugshot. He said this part also moved slowly. When he thought things would speed up, he was moved into another holding area. This resulted in even more waiting.

Jack Doherty stated that he spent around 10 hours in a large holding room. He shared that the long hours made him feel drained.

He described the whole experience as empty and repetitive, saying “It was boring, nothing happened.”
