During his recent live stream, popular Twitch streamer Asmongold called out the platform for not suspending accounts of prominent creators who he claims are obviously viewbotting. He named N3on as one of the streamers who allegedly uses viewbots to boost viewing numbers.

“So if you look at this total of average viewers, 20,000 average viewers, 31,000 average viewers, that's a lot of people watching, by the way, that's massive,” he said, going to N3on’s Twitch channel.

Asmongold continued by pulling up a chart comparing average viewers, engagement numbers, and viewership stability.

“And so if you look at some of these streams right here, some of these are just instantaneous, bro, like, are you kidding me? Like, what are you doing, man? What are you doing? You are gonna hit 40,000 viewers in 10 minutes, man. Like, look at this. This is like a machine, well, I guess it is. What do you hit in ten minutes? I don't know, maybe a little bit over 10,000 viewers, something like that, right?”

Asmongold added that while not all of N3on's viewers are bots, a significant number of them are.

“This is not just bots; yeah, people all over the world are watching us in their different time zones. What I'm saying is that nobody has a graph like this. Nobody goes from 0 to 38,000 viewers in five minutes, and then within one hour, it is at the same amount. It's just not it. It's obviously viewbotting.”

Asmongold calls Twitch out for handling viewbotters equally

Asmongold slammed the Twitch platform for not treating its users the same way.

“So what I find to be very interesting about this is that with Twitch trying to like stop viewbotting, etc., they are not even able to do it. They can't even stop it from happening. So you have obvious view botters on the platform, and nothing is even happening to them.”

Asmongold mentioned another streamer, Caso, who he claimed doesn't use view bots.

“Meanwhile, you have Caso, that's real. Caso doesn't have that happen; that's not what happens at all. You're not going to see drops and increases like this on Caso’s stream at all. And you can look at anybody else. Yeah, it's funny to me that they've effectively handicapped all these small streamers, but they still can't manage to get the most obvious view botters.”
