IShowSpeed finished first in a race against NBA star Jaylen Brown despite pulling a hamstring, and fans are impressed. The Celtics star teamed up with the popular streamer on a September 5, 2025, livestream and embarked on a quest around Boston.
The duo began their tour at the Boston Tea Party, where they dumped buckets of tea into the water with Brown shooting them like a basketball. They did Muay Thai together before proceeding to Downtown Crossing, where Jaylen Brown challenged IShowSpeed to a race.
The Celtics player also made a wager with the popular streamer, asking him to remove the “speed” in his name. Speed came out victorious in their race, narrowly defeating the NFL star as he admitted in pain that he had pulled a hamstring. Brown refused to accept Speed’s win as he tweeted on X shortly after:
“Change your name bro @ishowspeedsui bro pulled his hamstring. Win is a win, lmk if you need a therapist.”

IShowSpeed makes a surprise visit to Harvard during his Speed Does America tour

The 20-year-old YouTuber and streamer visited Harvard Square on September 5, 2025, drawing a crowd of onlookers and fans. IShowSpeed has built an impressive following across social media platforms for his high-energy expeditions, humor, and livestream stunts.
Chants and cheers welcomed the streamer as he danced outside the Malkin Athletic Center. The online personality proceeded to the Owl to play dice with the students before stopping outside the Harvard Lampoon’s Bow Street headquarters.
He posed for pictures with fans who occupied the sidewalks and the street there. The Harvard Krokodiloes performed for Speed before the Hasty Puddings club handed him a bag of gifts. Speed wore a Harvard sweatshirt and “nerdy” glasses and jokingly announced to the crowd that he was “here for class.”
The steamer’s visit to the University is part of his “Speed Does America tour” announced on August 18, 2025. The tour is a 35-day affair that began on August 28, 2025, and is streaming only on his YouTube channel.
