Shannon Sharpe has been in the news for quite some time since a $50M lawsuit was filed against him by Gabriella Zuniga, which included allegations such as s*xual assault, r*pe, and s*xual battery.

Recently, Shannon's former stylist, Russell Simpsons, uploaded a story on his Instagram account. The story had Shannon surrounded by a bunch of women, supposedly at an event. He accompanied the picture with a caption, which read:

“See, when I was around, you never heard a single word! I had everything so organized!”

This story of Russell has raised questions and speculations. For context, Russell's Instagram account is private, and his story featuring Shannon was posted on The Neighborhood Talk's Instagram page.

Shannon Sharpe's former stylist makes a cryptic claim

Russell Simpson, also known as Russell “Hollywood” Simpson, Shannon's former stylist, uploaded a story on his Instagram account. It was a picture of Shannon with some women, and the song Ran Out by JT was playing in the background.

The story and the caption have caught the attention of netizens. There are speculations that Russell might have helped in painting Shannon's image while working together.

Russell worked for Shannon before they split in 2023, and then Shannon went back to his stylist, Shelly Davis. As per Baller Allert, Shannon had tried to stop Russell from appearing at a reality show, fearing that Russell might reveal his secrets.

Previously, Russell and Shannon have been spotted at red-carpet events. On his podcast Nightcap, Shannon explained the reason behind their split. He said:

''Hollywood, he was gay. Okay, that's his life. That's not mine. Hollywood no longer styles me. Why? Because I'm loyal to Shelly [Davis]. She was hurt that, after 20-plus years of being my stylist, I had gone outside to hire someone else."

This cryptic claim comes after Shannon faced a lawsuit that accuses him of assaulting and r*ping Gabriella Zuniga on two different occasions. What began as a consensual relationship had turned violent, as per the lawsuit filed by Gabrilla in April.

Following the lawsuit, a purported audio call recording was released by Gabriella's legal team in which Shannon was allegedly threatening to choke her. This was then followed by Shannon's team releasing text messages to prove that their relationship was consensual.

Shannon's legal team denied the allegations made by Gabriella, calling it a 'shakedown attempt.' Shannon has stepped down from co-hosting ESPN and has stated that he will return to ESPN at the start of the NFL preseason. His temporary break is to focus on the high-profile legal battles.

However, it should be noted that Russell did not make any explicit allegations in his story, and Shannon did not publicly respond to the post either.
