Adin Ross reportedly revealed that he has bought FaZe Clan, one of the most significant names in esports and the creator scene.

The announcement was made through a social media post, which quickly went viral. It is generating notable reactions from fans and enthusiasts amid the latest wave of exits that hit FaZe Clan on December 25, 2025.

Adin Ross took to his official X (formerly Twitter) account to announce,

"Bought @FaZeClan"

Netizens reacted to Adin Ross' post, with one saying,

"that is why they all left"

FaZe Clan operates under a shared ownership structure that is related to GameSquare Holdings. The esports and gaming company acquired FaZe Holdings in 2023 through an all-stock deal.

GameSquare retained complete ownership of FaZe Esports, while FaZe Media was spun off as a separate internet media company in May 2024. Notable figures such as Matt Kalish, who is known for his DraftKings ties, hold significant stakes. Original founders and current creators retain relatively smaller ownership percentages and leadership roles.

Netizens' reactions to Adin Ross buying FaZe Clan

FearBuck took to its official X (formerly Twitter) account to share that,

"Adin Ross reveals he has bought FaZe Clan."

Netizens were notably quick to weigh in on the comment section of the X post as they penned their reactions to the news. Below are some of their remarks:

"Adin bought FaZe Clan. Trickshots out, 24 hour Tate streams in 💀", declared an X user.
"Adin Ross went from asking FaZe Banks for equity in FaZe Clan to buying the entire organization 👀🔥", commented another.
"Whoa 😳🔥Adin Ross officially owning FaZe Clan is a massive move in gaming and esports. Rebuilding the org is going to be wild to watch.", expressed a third.

Others also chimed in:

"Bro would be the worst owner ever dude literally interferes with everyone's kick deals also which is f*ckin terrible honestly which is f*ckin annoying 😑", penned a netizen.
"Lol faze it is SO f*cking done. @FaZeClan unfollowing everything and never ever supporting this s*it ever again if this is true", added another.
"That one is not confirmed either. As of now, there is no credible reporting that Adin Ross has actually bought FaZe Clan, it looks more like a claim/ joke/ hype statement than a verified acquisition. If FaZe were sold, it would be breaking news across esports, finance, and mainstream media immediately. Until there is an official announcement or filings, take it with a huge grain of salt.", noted a third.

More on FaZe Clan and Adin Ross

FaZe Clan began as FaZe Sniping on May 30, 2010. It started as a Call of Duty clan founded by Eric "CLipZ" Rivera, Jeff "House Cat" Emann, and Ben "Resistance" Christensen. The group mainly gained attention for trickshotting in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

In December 2024, FaZe won Best Content Organization at The Streamer Awards and received a nomination for Best Marathon Stream. Its streaming roster at the time included JasonTheWeen, Adapt, PlaqueBoyMax, Banks, Silky, Lacy, and StableRonaldo.

FaZe Clan has faced multiple controversies throughout 2025. In July, CEO Richard "Banks" Bengtson officially stepped down amid accusations of promoting the $MLG meme coin. However, Banks wrote at the time,

"I have never scammed anyone in my life. The entire narrative is unfair."

In September 2025, FaZe Temperrr was removed from the group following allegations of inappropriate conduct. Temperrr said,

"I was just cut off the roster today. No conversation. Nothing from the people I stood beside for over a decade."

Adin Ross is a live streamer with an estimated net worth of $40 million. He initially focused on NBA 2K and Grand Theft Auto V streaming. He was famous for playing NBA 2K20 with Bronny James, which eventually led to a call-in appearance by LeBron James that went notably viral.

On December 25, 2025, multiple FaZe Clan members announced their exit, including Rani "Stable Ronaldo", Jason "Jasontheween", Nick "Lacy", Alexander "Adapt", and Jerry "Silky."

As of now, Josh "YourRAGE" and Kaysan are the only Twitch streamers yet to announce their exit from FaZe Clan.
