Valorant professional player Ava 'florescent' Eugene, best known as the first woman to join a Tier 1 VALORANT league, has been under fire, as she had been accused by an X (formerly Twitter) user named @cowffeeeee on May 20, 2025.
In the recent allegations, @cowffeeeee claimed that she and Florescent were involved in highly inappropriate conversations, and the X user also claimed that Florescent would beg adults to "groom" her while she was a minor.
These allegations come after the former Game Changers pro Marceline 'Karie' Carson, or @kar_ie on X (formerly Twitter), accused Florescent of sexual assault on May 17, 2025, as per Gosu Gamers.
Valorant Pro Florescent hit with new allegations
On May 20, 2025, a user named @cowffeeeee came forward on X with her own set of allegations against Florescent. Her allegations were from early 2022, when Florescent was a minor and she was an adult.
She detailed these allegations in a nine-page Google document. In this detailed document, @cowffeeeee claimed that she was helping Florescent with her health and life, and the latter would beg adults to "groom" her while she was a minor. @cowffeeeee also claimed the two were involved in highly inappropriate conversations.
This is what the new allegations say:
''In 2022, a few months after I turned 18, I became fairly well acquainted with Flor and tried my best to help her leave her sh***y living situation, better her mental/physical health, and live a happier life... I ultimately did not succeed in steering her life towards a better place; she would later go on to use these messages to slander my name, claiming that I groomed her. Quite ironic, considering she was the one repeatedly asking me despite me informing her what grooming entailed and stating I wasn’t willing to do so."
@cowffeeeee also attached screenshots in the documents, showing Florescent begging adults to groom her. This is what it said:
''As seen in the screenshots below, Flor has a history of repeatedly begging adults to groom her - while she was a minor - despite multiple friends and myself telling her about the dangers of grooming."
Riot Games, the developer of Valorant, has acknowledged these allegations and said it will cooperate with any legal investigations that may arise
These allegations come after Karie Carson, or @kar_ie on X, shared allegations against Florescent on behalf of her friend, who is referred to as Brick. In the allegations that were shared through a Google document on May 17, Brick described her relationship with Florescent as toxic and coercive.
In these allegations, Brick has cited instances of non-consensual sexual activity and emotional abuse. The document also has several screenshots of tweets from Florescent's other alleged X account. @kar_ie then shared a follow-up statement from Brick, which gave more details of the emotional abuse and emotional neglect she went through in her roughly nine-month-long relationship, as per Esports Illustrated.
Florescent then publicly denied all the allegations and said that she was seeking legal help in this matter.
On May 17, she posted on X:
''I'm aware of the allegations that were made against me and take them very seriously. However, I strongly deny any and all accusations of SA. I’m currently treating this matter with my full attention.''
She continued:
''I am also exploring immediate legal assistance to help determine the best way for me to proceed, both in determining what I can share publicly, and how to best go about clearing my name. I will provide an update when capable.''
As of now, no legal charges have been filed, and the situation is developing.
