Kate Middleton recently visited London’s Ever After Garden for a charitable art installation. The Princess of Wales shared a video via Instagram, detailing what went down at the event. Before leaving, Kate left a handwritten note nestled in the flower gardens. The personal note read:

“In loving memory of all those who have lost their lives to cancer – C.”

Kate Middleton captioned the video:

“Thank you to all those who have contributed to the Ever After Garden, which raises vital funds for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.”

Adding:

“Every flower, every light, is a memory held together, an illumination of shared love, remembrance, and hope.”

Kate Middleton is a cancer survivor. In March of last year, the Princess of Wales revealed via an emotional video posted to her Instagram that she was diagnosed with cancer. Although she didn't mention the type of cancer she had, she disclosed that she was undergoing chemotherapy treatment at the time.

The Princess told her followers:

“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy, and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.”

In September of the same year, Kate Middleton shared a lengthy message on her official X account announcing that she had completed her chemotherapy treatment.

“As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment. The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”

She added:

“The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you.”

In January, Kate Middleton shared the good news that she was in remission. She announced on Instagram.

“I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to The Royal Marsden for looking after me so well during the past year. My heartfelt thanks goes to all those who have quietly walked alongside William and me as we have navigated everything. We couldn't have asked for more.”

Adding:

“The care and advice we have received throughout my time as a patient has been exceptional.”

She revealed that she was now a Joint Patron of The Royal Marsden and was focused on her recovery.
