Famous projects of Yeo Jin-goo

Over the years, Yeo Jin-goo has starred in a range of famous dramas that became hits worldwide. Some of these include Link: Eat, Love, Kill, starring Mun Ka Young alongside him, Beyond Evil, Hotel del Luna, and Circle. Talking about Hotel del Luna, he said in the GQ Magazine interview:

"It was a project which allowed me to praise myself. I received lots of love and praises, which made me realize that it’s okay to act according to what I wanted to show. It was so overwhelming at that time."

While the actor's last drama was released three years ago, he recently did a movie titled Hijack 1971, released last year. Some of his other movies released in recent years include Ditto, Ajoomma, and Noryang: Deadly Sea, where he appeared in a guest role.

The movie was loved by his fans, gaining a score of over 8.5 on MyDramaList. This year, he appeared in a TV show titled The Great Escape: The Story.

Speaking of how he joined this field, he reportedly told The Korea Times:

"I became an actor simply because I like acting. But since 'Hwayi,' I have been getting people's attention and higher expectations, which made me take a different perspective on acting because I started to think, 'I can't just like it but I have to do it well.' The thing I used to love became difficult"

As of now, Yeo Jin-goo has no upcoming projects lined up, as he prepares to begin his military service. Speaking about his return, Yeo shared a reported message to fans during his fan meeting tour, BLANKSPACE, held across Asia, which read:

"While I am temporarily away from you, I will return as a more solid and mature person. Please do not be too sad. I will come back on the day we meet again with a more wonderful appearance."
