Bella Thorne got engaged to her fiancé, Mark Emms, in May 2023. The announcement was also shared by Vogue Weddings on Instagram, highlighting the couple’s exciting news with the caption:

"@bellathorne is engaged! The actress and director has found love with entrepreneur Mark Emms, the producer behind #BadVegan and the co-owner of New York City hotspot the @themulberrybar."

The couple first met in 2022 at model Cara Delevingne's birthday party held in Ibiza, according to Vogue.

Mark Emms proposed to the Midnight Sun actress with an emerald-cut diamond ring.

Before getting engaged to Emms, Thorne was engaged to Italian singer and actor Benjamin Mascolo. The ex-couple announced their engagement in March 2021. However, Thorne and Mascolo parted ways over a year later, according to a source statement to PEOPLE.

Emms's proposal to Thorne came almost nine months after they first met. Sharing her excitement, she told People at that time:

"It's really like, ‘Oh wow, we're really, you're my partner.’ Let's do this together. So that kind of becomes more real every day, and kind of solidifies our partnership more and more every day."

Bella Thorne shares new photos of her proposal to fiancé Mark Emms

On August 16, Bella Thorne uploaded a video of her proposing to her fiancé, Mark Emms, on Instagram. The caption of the post read:

"3 years ago we met, 1 year later he proposed, Now 1 year later so did I 🥴❤️"

The video showed Bella getting on one knee and proposing to Emms with a ring. The post also included photos of the room where she proposed to her fiancé, decorated with white and red flowers and candles.

After the post went live, the comment section was divided, with fans sharing mixed opinions. Commenting on the reactions, Bella wrote on her Instagram stories:

"The comments on my post are hilarious!! Totally split down the middle. Half of u are like let's not normalize proposing to your partner -- other half is like fu*k yeah girl power this is the sweetest!!"

As the reactions settled, Thorne shared another post on September 4, featuring more photos from the proposal. The caption of the post read:

"Some of y’all in the comments had me cracking up 😂… but anyways, here’s some more ring content since I know you care sooo much 💍😉"

The post featured the couple together, along with decorations Bella Thorne planned for the big day, comprising flowers and heart balloons. In one photo, Emms was seen showing the ring he received from Bella during the proposal, a silver band decorated with diamonds.

Though Bella Thorne has hinted at wedding plans after Mark Emms’s proposal, the couple hasn’t revealed a date yet.
