When did Song Ha-yoon debut? Career explored as actress faces resurfaced school violence allegations

South Korean actress Song Ha-yoon faces renewed school violence allegations. According to Mr. Oh, the actress allegedly assaulted him for about 90 minutes and was forcibly transferred to a different school. However, the actress has denied the allegations. According to Ha-yoon's team:

"There is no fact that she committed any violence against Mr. Oh during her high school years, nor is there any truth to her being forced to transfer schools due to school violence."

Mr. Oh came to Korea to prove his story from 21 years ago, with a witness also speaking out. The full story airs on SBS Curious Story Y on September 5.

Song Ha-yoon, famous for her role in the Korean series Marry My Husband, first appeared on the big screen in the 2003 series Sang Doo, Let's Go To School as a supporting role.


Song Ha-yoon's career explored

Soon after her appearance in Sang Doo, Let’s Go to School, Song Ha-yoon landed the main role in the series Taereung National Village. That same year, she also took on a supporting role in the movie Innocent Steps. She later made a contract with JYP Entertainment in 2013.

Over the years, the actress has worked in many well-known dramas, including Ghost, Reset, and Devilish Charm. In 2024, she played a lead role in Marry My Husband alongside actress Park Min-young. The show streamed on Amazon Prime and received huge success, earning a rating of over 8.5 stars on MyDramaList. This year, she also appeared in a supporting role in the drama Cringy Romance.

While Ha-yoon is best known for her drama roles, she has also acted in a number of films, such as Baby & I, Whistle Blower, and her most recent movie, Intimate Strangers, released in 2018.

Alongside her acting projects, she also appeared on several TV shows, including Where Is My Home, Happy Farmers Seasons 1 and 2, and Knowing Bros. A few years into her career, she took on main roles in special dramas such as Guardian Angel Kim Young Goo, Chagall's Birthday, and I Introduce My Father.

In 2019, she enlisted under King Kong by Starship, further strengthening her career.


Song Ha-yoon is also set to play the lead role in the upcoming TV series Oh Man Sang and Prejudice alongside Ji Hyun-woo. The official release date has not yet been announced.
