Kim Kardashian took the California bar exam towards the end of July and is counting down the days to D-day. The candidates will finally know the results on November 7. But the State Bar will release the results to the public on November 9 at 6:00 p.m. The California bar exam is one of the most difficult exams in the country, with a passing rate of 53.8% as of July 2024.
The California bar exam is a two-day test, which includes five one-hour essay questions, one 90-minute performance test, and 200 multiple-choice questions. According to TMZ, Kim may have taken the test privately since there was no mention of her presence at the exam hall. Usually, the bar exams are conducted in a huge convention center.

Does Kim Kardashian have a law school degree?
The answer is no. Kim Kardashian has never studied law, but she managed to appear for the California bar exam in July after clearing the baby bar exam. However, even the baby bar exam was not a tiny feat for the social media mogul because it took her four attempts to pass it.
Kim Kardashian cleared the baby bar exam in December 2021, after her fourth attempt. In addition to this, Kim also had to do a six-year apprenticeship so she could appear for the California bar exam. After she completed it in May 2025, Kim held a small graduation party for herself in her backyard, surrounded by her family and friends.
On another note, people who choose to appear for the state bar exam tend to put all their focus into two months of studying prior to the exam. That did not seem to be the case for Kim Kardashian, the mother of four, who was seen traveling, shooting for a TV show, and was even seen at the biggest event of the decade, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sànchez's wedding.
At the moment, Kim is in Venice, Italy, receiving an award for her work in criminal justice.
What did Kim Kardashian say after passing the baby bar exam?
In December 2021, Kim Kardashian took to Instagram to share the good news with her followers by writing:
"OMFGGGG I PASSED THE BABY BAR EXAM!!!!"
She also mentioned the number of times she failed, saying:
"I failed this exam 3 times in 2 years, but I got back up each time and studied harder and tried again until I did it!!! (I did have COVID on the 3rd try w a 104 fever but I’m not making excuses😉)"
In the post, she also thanked Van Jones, saying he was the one who pushed her to pursue law school.
Kim also mentioned her late father in the post, who was also a lawyer. She wrote:
"I know my dad would be so proud and he would actually be so shocked to know that this is my path now but he would have been my best study partner. I am told he was notorious for making fun of people who didn’t pass on their first attempt like he did, but he would have been my biggest cheerleader!"
