Bella Thorne uploaded an Instagram post on October 14, remembering her late father, Reinaldo Thorne. Reinaldo died at the age of 44 years in a motorcycle accident and was married to Tamara Thorne. The couple had four children.

Remembering him in the recent Instagram post about Hispanic Heritage Month, she wrote:

"It’s a connection to where I come from, and to my dad, who was Cuban. Though he’s no longer here, my roots always bring me back to him"

She continued:

"I carry him in everything I do. In the way I tell stories, in how I fight for what I believe in, and in the pride that comes with knowing who I am and where I come from."

Bella Thorne has remembered her father, Reinaldo Thorne, on Instagram from time to time. In April 2025, she shared a carousel on Instagram featuring a number of photos of herself with her father. In some of the pictures, he was seen holding the young Bella in his arms. Captioning the photos, Bella wrote:

"Remembering you.. Years may pass but it never fucking gets easier You’re my dad(dy), my love, my light, my angel and my strength Missing you, love you always❤️"

In a now-deleted post, uploaded in 2020, thirteen years after her father's death, the actress hoped her father was 'floating in the sky' or living as the 'beautiful bird' he had always wanted to be.

Along with remembering him on Instagram, the actress also talked about Reinaldo Thorne in The Life of a Wannabe Mogul: Mental Disarray, a book written by Bella Thorne. Talking about him in a poem, she wrote:

"why did you leave? when will you be back? why wont you be at my wedding / or my funeral? they say a parent should never have to burry [sic] their child but a child should never have 2 burry their dad either."

In an interview with SiriusXM’s Sway In The Morning, the actress revealed writing a song about Reinaldo Thorne.

The actress appeared this year in a movie titled Find Your Friends and is set to appear in another film, Bunny-Man, which is scheduled for release later this year, according to IMDb.
