Withers gained prominence in the online world in 2023, after posting debates and discussions regarding societal issues and challenging conservative ideas. He also made an appearance on Jubilee Media, a channel on YouTube, and was a part of the Surrounded series in a video titled:

"Some lunatic just followed me and my girlfriend, and shot at us with a BB Gun, grazing my girlfriend’s hair. After missing (thank god they were a terrible shot) they fled the scene."

The majority of the comments indicate that users do not believe Withers' post, or the fact that he has a girlfriend in the first place. They responded, expressing their disbelief, while others tried to pull Dean's leg.

Dean Withers is currently the laughing stock of the online community. After his latest X post, where he mentioned he and his girlfriend had almost been shot at with a BB gun, netizens have started to troll and make fun of the streamer. Withers has pushed back on some of the comments, claiming he was only revealing facts.
