Who are Hailee Steinfeld's parents? Singer's family background revisited as she hints at a new Beau Society era

Hailee Steinfeld, born Hailee Puring Steinfeld, is the younger of two children of Peter and Cheri Steinfeld. Her father, Peter, is a fitness trainer, and her mom, Cheri, is an interior designer and also Hailee’s manager. The American actress and singer shares a very tight relationship with her parents.

Recently, Hailee Steinfeld decided to give her passion project, Beau Society, a makeover. The newsletter community founded by the Capital Letter singer will be more community-focused in 2026, as Hailee wants her fans and readers to help choose the weekly newsletter's topics. This idea was inspired by a question Steinfeld’s friend asked about the future of the Beau Society.

“At one point, my friend asked me what I wanted Beau Society to be in five years, which made me feel all lit up inside. I know some of you have been with us since day one, while others are new (welcome!), but now that we’re heading into a new year, this feels like a good time to reflect.”

She revealed that she wanted her fans to be more involved in the creative process of BS and to feel more connected to the newsletter.

“It’s important to me that you are involved as we grow in the new year. I always want to write about what’s lighting me up and highlight what’s exciting you, too. I’m currently thinking of ways to bring you more BS. So I’d love to know…”

Hailee Steinfeld launched her newsletter, Beau Society, in August 2024. She described BS as a “better way to connect with people I care about in a way that felt deeply personal, beyond the noise of social media.”

The actress named her passion project Beau’s Society because everyone in her family called her Beau.

In October, Steinfeld announced that the newsletter was moving to Substack, an online publishing platform where writers can build their own newsletters, articles, and videos.

“Surprise! We're on Substack now! After delivering this letter to all of you for the past year, I felt it was time to move! I'm really excited about it. I love Substack. So many of my friends love Substack. Plus, there are so many incredible features Substack offers, so the party's bound to be more fun here.”

Beauty Society now has over 87,000 subscribers.
