More about Milo Yiannopoulos and his recent tweet on Kanye West

Milo Yiannopoulos has caused a stir on social media with his latest tweet, where he says that “they keep sending people to kill Ye, but he never dies.” Milo is known for having a controversial persona, which often receives public backlash.

Milo was a senior editor at Breitbart News, and during his time there, he rose to prominence because of the Gamergate controversy, as he was an active supporter of the campaign. The campaign was known for misogynistic harassment and threats.

Politically, Milo was associated with Kanye when the rapper hired him to assist in running a campaign for the U.S. presidency in 2024. Milo was responsible for organizing controversial meetings, and this association between Milo and Kanye gained widespread media attention. It, however, did not last long, as there were frequent internal conflicts.

Milo has also been banned from social media platforms in the past. For instance, he was banned from Twitter in 2016 after making mocking tweets directed at actress Leslie Jones, who was subsequently abused by other users as well. He was also banned from Facebook and Instagram in 2019 for promoting violence and hate speech.

Outside of politics, Milo has been associated with Kanye as he served as his chief of staff for Ye’s brand, Yeezy. In 2024, Milo raised a complaint with the California Dental Board, accusing Ye’s dentist, Dr. Thomas, of allegedly supplying Kanye with nitrous oxide in exchange for $50k every month.

Milo posted a screenshot of a group chat on X, which included Ye, the dentist, and Milo himself, to support his claim that Ye had an addiction to nitrous oxide. Along with the screenshot, he posted this statement:

“PROOF: Thomas Connelly agrees to deliver recreational nitrous oxide to his heavily addicted patient Ye at the latter’s then-residence, Chateau Marmont—the site of dozens of celebrity overdoses and suicides.''

He also claimed at the time that Kanye would frequently discuss nitrous oxide during their meetings and asserted that the use of the gas contributed to Ye’s unpredictable behavior. The dentist denied the claims, calling them misleading.

Currently, Milo is serving as an advisor and spokesperson for Kanye and his wife, Bianca Censori, while also running a management firm that represents high-profile politicians and celebrities.
