Details of influencer Skorp808, sentence explored
On Friday, the influencer was sentenced to 4 years and 8 months in prison for grievous bodily harm, simple bodily harm, and several other offenses. The trial was focused on the attempted grievous bodily harm, which was livestreamed.
In May 2024, during a livestream session, Skorp808 was confronted by two men, who were friends of the rival influencer, Brian Keller. Giorgio responded to the confrontation by pulling a 20 cm knife and chasing them through the streets of Zurich while livestreaming the event. Hence, he has been charged with attempted grievous bodily harm. The court also concluded that Giorgio did not act out of self-defense but out of revenge, as he livestreamed the incident of chasing the men with the blade.
As the assault was livestreamed, it caused widespread attention among the public and social media users. The prosecutors had demanded that Giorgio be sentenced to eight and a half years' imprisonment. However, the defense argued, they wanted him to be acquitted of the violence-related charges and be released. The court also emphasized that Giorgio’s use of a weapon and the livestream amplified the severity of the offense.
On the other hand, the other party involved in the feud, Brian Keller, was separately sentenced in early June 2025 to 3 years and 9 months for assaulting Skorp808. He was convicted of attempted grievous bodily harm. In May 2024, Brian Keller physically assaulted influencer Skorp808 during a public confrontation. The incident was captured on video, in which it was seen that Keller struck Giorgio multiple times.
Reports suggest that these attacks were violent, leading to both physical and psychological harm to Giorgio and other injuries. According to reports by Blue News, Keller also urged users on TikTok to commit violence during a livestream where he was caught saying, 'Attack him, hurt him, do him violence.' The prosecutors had then presented this behaviour of Keller in the court as an active incitement for others to use violence.
Hence, both Brian Keller and Giorgio are currently serving sentences.
