Aimee Osbourne, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne's eldest daughter, has always shied away from the cameras since a young age. She was 19 years old when the reality television series, The Osbournes, was released. It featured her father and her family, and was active for four seasons. However, Aimee has scarcely made any appearances on the reality television show.

As the eldest of three siblings, she is one of the lesser-known Osbournes compared to Kelly and Jack. Aimee Osbourne's lack of screen time was a conscious decision to retain her privacy. She even moved out of the house to avoid the cameras.

During an interview with the New York Post, she explained the reason behind choosing to remove herself from The Osbournes. She said:

"I didn't want to be in the public eye that way... I wasn't comfortable with that kind of attention or scrutiny... People assumed it would be easy to do something commercial just because it would get attention... I had to fight to have my voice heard."

Did Aimee Osbourne's decision to remove herself from The Osbournes affect the family?

Aimee's decision to move out of her family's house when she was just a teenager impacted her relationship with her family, especially her siblings. Her younger sister, Kelly Osbourne, revealed during an interview with the Armchair Expert podcast. She said that they "don't talk," and explained:

"We're just really different... She doesn't understand me. I don't understand her."

In a 2015 interview with The Independent, Aimee talked about her relationship with her family. She revealed:

"I wouldn't say there is an ease between us, but there is an acceptance. Do we socialise? No."

What does Aimee Osbourne do?

After moving away from her parents' house and their fame, Aimee decided to pursue her own passion of becoming an actress and a singer. She has released music under the name ARO, which are the initials in her name. However, she does not follow in her father's heavy metal footsteps. Her genre is described as synth-pop and trip-hop.

ARO has released six singles so far, and an LP titled Vacare Adamaré. It was released in October 2020, and prior to its release, Aimee Osbourne wanted to do it by releasing it in:

"EP-like chapters, built around videos for each song."

Despite Aimee Osbourne's ups and downs with her family. She was seen next to her mother's side during the Birmingham procession on the way to her father's private funeral.
