The winner of Miss Universe 2025, Fátima Bosch, may not be moving forward with her previous arrangements with the Telemundo network after a tense interview on Sunday, December 7. During her ongoing press tour, the beauty pageant winner joined the Spanish network’s nighttime talk show hosts Carlos Adyan and Lourdes Stephen for a fresh episode of Pica y se Extiende.

According to reports, Fatima Bosch announced to the production team that she would withdraw from the other scheduled appearance on the network after finishing the episode, which featured questions about the controversies that plagued the just-concluded Miss Universe pageant.

After Fátima Bosch’s announcement, Carlos Adyan addressed the controversy on the morning show En Casa Con Telemundo. He confirmed that Bosch had cancelled her other scheduled appearances with the network.

Telemundo was the official broadcaster for this year’s Miss Universe Pageant.

“If that type of question bothers you, it's for a reason,” Telemundo reporter Adyan reacts to Fatima Bosch allegedly canceling scheduled interviews with Telemundo.

Fátima was asked to comment on the statement made by the co-owner of the Miss Universe pageant, Raúl Rocha. Rocha pointed out that citizens of Côte d'Ivoire need visas to enter 175 countries, highlighting how the pageant considers contestants with strong passports who can meet travel requirements. He mentioned this as part of his reasoning for why he believed Miss Côte d'Ivoire Olivia Yacé didn’t win.

Bosch answered:

"But as an organization, you have to understand what a company is, and there is work, so they have to look for someone to make the job easier. If you have to travel the world ... obviously, they need someone who can travel easily."

Fátima Bosch was also asked to comment on the allegations of criminal activity, drug trafficking and arms trafficking levied against Rocha. During the interview, Carlos and Stephen also brought up Bosch’s allegations against Miss Grand International president Nawat Itsaragrisil, as well as the latter’s alleged defamation case against her.

Adyan, in his morning talk show, said that Fátima Bosch looked displeased with the questions before adding:

"I think that this leaves much more evidence to the public of what really happens, because if that type of question bothers you, it's for a reason," Adyan said. "She already had all the power to answer whatever she wanted within the interview. These questions were going to be asked, either by us, the journalist who came next, because these are the things being discussed, and we are not making up information.
