100 Days My Prince counts as one of the most heartfelt romance dramas of all time, thanks to its intriguing storyline and the cast, who gave their best performance to bring the Korean drama to life.

Directed by Lee Jong Jae and Nam Sung Woo, the Korean drama revolves around Crown Prince Yi Yul, who gets injured and loses his memories, and Hong Sim, a kind woman of the family who takes care of him. The prince also makes a rule stating that everyone should get married before they turn twenty-eight and eventually marries her because of his own rule.

The couple grows closer as they live together, and at one point, the crown prince also regains his memories and what his identity used to be. The drama has a happy ending, with the two living happily together after overcoming the political challenges.

Born as a crown prince who loses his memory and becomes a common man, he is taken care of by Hong Sim, whom he marries and falls in love with. He is very bad at the normal household work of a commoner. Though he loses all his memory, his skills of being the crown prince don't go away, including his fighting and speaking skills.

He is brave and courageous and isn't afraid of protecting the one he loves. At times, he can also be seen as arrogant and cold, but it mostly comes from his loneliness and not from his rude behavior.


2) Nam Ji Hyun as Hong Sim/Yun I Seo

Hong Sim is a kind and caring woman who is very clever when it comes to tasks. Also, she doesn't depend on anyone and is brave enough to fight for herself when it comes to arguments.

However, she also has a secret, as she was actually a noblewoman turned commoner to fight justice for her family and find her brother. Her character is very lively, which adds to the overall drama.


3) Kim Seon Ho as Jung Jae Yun

Jung Jae Yun is an admirer of Hong Sim and someone Yi Yul trusts a lot. However, the drama shows his struggles with recognizing faces, as he only remembers Hong Sim's face out of everyone.


4) Cho Seong Ha as Kim Cha Eon

The main villain of 100 Days My Prince, Kim Cha Eon, is self-centered and wants everything for himself. It doesn't matter what risks he has to take to make his dream come true. At the same time, he doesn't like Yi Yul and can go to any lengths to take the throne.


5) Han So Hee as Kim So Hye

Fans of Han So Hee will see her in the role of Kim So Hye in 100 Days My Prince. She plays the role of the crown princess and Cha Eon's daughter. In the drama, she marries Yi Yul due to political pressure and her father's plan to remove the prince from the throne so his own daughter can acquire it.

However, neither the prince nor the princess has any feelings for the other. So Hye develops feelings for the female lead's brother instead, which she hides from her family. She also gets ignored by her own family, making her story sad even after coming from a noble family.


6) Kim Jae Yeong as Mu Yeon / Yun Seok Hwan

Mu Yeon is the same brother that Hong Sim is looking for. He is a very talented and brave fighter who is given the order to kill the crown prince by Cha Eon. While working for Cha Eon, he and So Hye fall in love with each other.

While he is on a mission to kill the crown prince, he discovers that the crown prince's wife is actually his own sister, leaving him torn.
