Avatar: The Last Airbender will be a part of a series of panels, and the latest Variety report offers details about these events.

On the first day of the fan convention, the team will unveil some games and toys related to Avatar: The Last Airbender, which will be out next year. Per Variety, this panel, dubbed The Merch Nation: Avatar Legends Action Figures and Games, will take place in North Javits Room 408 at 3:30 p.m. After that, fans can win some prizes by participating in a trivia contest.

Bryan Konietzko, who co-created the animated series with Michael Dante DiMartino, will be present at the convention for a panel, taking place on October 12 at 11 a.m. on the main stage in Javits Hall 1D. He will be joined by Mae Whitman, Michaela Jill Murphy, Zach Tyler Eisen, Dante Basco, and Jack DeSena, who previously played Katara, Toph, Aang, Zuko, and Sokka, respectively.

Besides these panels, there will be more ways for fans of Avatar: The Last Airbender to share their love for the show. The convention will also include some activations where fans can take pictures with the characters of Aang and Appa.

There's The Boy in the Iceberg activation followed by a Wulong Forest activation. With the former, fans can take pictures with these characters trapped inside an iceberg, while with the latter, they can experience what it must have been to witness Aang’s iconic battle with Fire Lord Ozai.

Variety states that fans can get a digital GIF and a printed photo as they leave this rock column activation, which will also include a surprise. An augmented reality approach will help fans feel like these animated characters have come alive next to them.

Speaking about the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series on Netflix, it wrapped its production in May 2025, according to Tudum. Executive producers Christine Boylan and Jabbar Raisani told Tudum,

“We’re looking forward to working with all of our actors again and digging into the deeper, more complicated relationships that develop as their journey continues in Season 2. We are going to show the real-world versions of iconic scenes from the original, and explore some of the stories that the animation didn’t. Mainly, we’re looking forward to seeing our gang all together again.”
