A police officer, Park Jun-Mo, played by Ji Chang Wook, goes undercover at a powerful and notorious drug criminal empire. As he gets entangled in the secrets of the high-profile drug business, which is led by Jung Gi Cheol, played by Wi Ha Joon, Jun-Mo learns that his wife, who is also a detective is involved. His wife, Yoo Eui Jeong, played by Im She Mi, has a past connection with the drug cartel leader. Similar to The Believers, the connection between the lead characters becomes the focal point of the story. The hit series also starts Im Sung Jae, Lee Shin Ki, Cha Rae Hyoung, Yoon Kyung Ho and Bibi, among others.

2) Ozark

Marty Byrde, played by Jason Bateman, has been coming up with money-laundering schemes for drug cartels. However, when things take an unexpected turn, he will move to Missouri Ozark with his family, where he is forced to come up with a bigger scheme. In their pursuit to launder money for the Mexican drug cartel, Byrde family even gets entangled with local crime syndicate. Like the plot of The Believers, especially in Season 2, the family’s survival in the dangerous world takes the spotlight. Ozark also starts Laura Linney, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner and Julia Garner.

Dept Q is a British crime drama series that follows Carl Morck, played by Matthew Goode, a Detective, who after a shooting incident gone wrong is given the task to take over the cold case unit. While he is not happy about his new role, he sets out to unearth truth behind the disappearance of a prosecutor called Merritt Lingard. Tracker is a procedural crime drama series with engrossing cases and strong performances, which makes the series a compelling watch. The CBS show revolves around Colter Shaw, played by Justin Hartley, a highly skilled survivalist, who solves crime cases involving missing people. He travels across the country and makes money by helping people, as he also confronts truth about his own past. The series is based on the book The Never Game by Jeffery Deaver. Tracker also starts Abby McEnany, Fiona Rene, Eric Graise, Jensen Ackles and Chris Lee, among others.

5) The Sinner

The Sinner is a procedural anthology crime drama series which revolves around Detective Harry Ambrose, played by Bill Pullman, as he investigates shocking psychological crimes. Each season explores new unique cases that focuses on the motive behind the attack instead of directing spotlight on the person who committed the crime. Ambrose’s own personal story is also explored in the series. Like The Believers, the narrative is full of twists and turns that keep you hooked. The Sinner also stars Jessica Biel, Hannah Gross, Jessica Hecht, Dohn Norwood, Matt Bomer, and Abby Miller among others.
