Mercy For None might be one of the most hyped new K-dramas on Netflix. The series, based on the webtoon called Plaza Wars, narrates the story of So Ji-seob’s Nam Gi-joon, who returns to gang fights to seek revenge for his brother, Nam Gi-Seok’s death. After being part of Bongsan Gang and making them one of the biggest gangs, Gi-joon left the gang to live a normal life, as his brother joined a rival gang.
However, he had to return to his violent life that he had given up on 11 years ago to seek revenge. The Korean series will be available to stream on Netflix from June 6, 2025.
1) Squid Game 3
Squid Game 3 might be one of the most anticipated new K-dramas since last year, after season 2 dropped on Netflix. This will be the final chapter of Lee Jung-jae’s Seong Gi-hun as he tries to catch the people behind this violent squid game.
Season 2 ended on a grim note as Gi-hun and his friends rebelled against Lee Byung-hun’s The Front Man, and Gi-hun lost his friend, who was killed right in front of him, depicting how difficult it would be to survive this time.
The new season will depict whether Gi-hun gives in and plays the game like he did the last time, or if he has been planning something more. We might not be sure of what Gi-hun might be planning until we watch the final season, but we can be sure that the games in season 3 would not be easier. Squid Game 3 will be available on Netflix from June 27, 2025.
