Georgia Miller, now Randolph from Ginny & Georgia, is one of the most complex female characters across TV shows. Played by Brianne Howey, Georgia has had a tough life. From being abused as a child to being in relationships that hamper the safety of her and her family, Georgia has fled many places across the country and committed many crimes.

However, her terrifying survival instincts had been mostly hidden from her children until they arrived in Wellsbury, where everything began catching up to her. But she remains the fierce, protective mother whenever she feels her kids are in danger. 7) Georgia gets a job in the Mayor's office

Time and again, Georgia has proved how resourceful she could be, and that’s how she pitches to Paul for a job in the Mayor’s office, which he initially rejects in season 1 of Ginny & Georgia. However, this soon changes after Georgia asks Joe to provide a healthy lunch option by blackmailing him about unpaid intern kids on his organic farm.

This impresses Paul as he commends Georgia for achieving a win and making Cynthia Fuller, who raised the complaint about the junk food in the school, happy. He later hires her in the Mayor’s office.


6) Georgia and Ginny tease each other

For Georgia, her kids are the most important in the whole world, and to keep them safe, she has committed many crimes. For them, she tries to keep it cool even after being accused of killing Tom Fuller. In episode 2 of Season 3 of Ginny & Georgia, while Marcus and Ginny are still trying to set boundaries in their friendship, Georgia sees them being too close to each other.

She asks her daughter to be careful of her ex. Ginny teases her mother back after seeing her father and Georgia hug, telling her to be careful of her ex.


5) Georgia's confession to Joe

Georgia and Joe's first meeting as teenagers was shown in Ginny & Georgia season 1. Since then, Joe has been in love with her, and in season 3, the couple finally had their chance as Joe was one of the few people, besides her kids, who stood by her.

In the finale of season 3 of Ginny & Georgia, Georgia confesses everything to Joe, saying she doesn't want to hide anything from him. From killing Tom Fuller to killing Kenny, she reveals everything. Joe tells her he doesn't care, but Georgia asks him to give her some time as she needs to be with her kids before seeing another man. This was one of the best scenes for Georgia in the overall stressful and difficult season 3.


4) She confesses to Paul about her crimes and her issues with Gil

As the wedding date comes near, Ginny finds out that her mother has canceled the venue, meaning there won’t be a wedding, and Georgia will again make the move to a different place, in a true Georgia fashion. However, this time, Ginny talks to Georgia and tries to convince her mother to confess everything to Paul.

In the final episode of Ginny & Georgia season 2, Georgia musters up the courage and confesses to Paul about everything, from Gil harassing her to being the one who sent him to jail, but does not tell him about the murders she committed. This is a huge step in their relationship as Paul does not leave her but makes sure Gil stays away from the family. Therefore, they don’t leave the place this time, and Georgia gets married to Paul.


3) Georgia’s slam poetry about seeing Marcus sneaking into their house

While Georgia seems mostly cool with her kids, as they seem more annoyed by her than she is with them, there are moments when her motherly instincts turn furious. For instance, after attending her first open-mic event with her father in season 1 episode 8 of Ginny & Georgia, Ginny is confronted by her mother in her own style of slam poetry with her thick southern accent.

She reveals seeing a stranger’s face while doing laundry, and then that stranger sneaking into her 15-year-old daughter’s room, terrifying her. She describes this incident as how it made her angry and fearful as a mother. Although this leads to another fight between the mother and daughter, Georgia never fails to be unique even when she is angry with her daughter.


2) Georgia confesses to Ginny about killing Kenny

In season 2 of Ginny & Georgia episode 3, Georgia realizes Ginny knows about Kenny after she calls her Mary. Later, she asks her mother why she killed Kenny.

Georgia finally reveals to her daughter that she saw what Kenny’s intentions were regarding Ginny, and as a child who survived abuse, she knows that it would only increase and make Ginny’s and their life more terrible. She tells Ginny that she had to kill Kenny to keep herself and her family safe, and if the need arises, she would do it again. This confession brings the mother and daughter closer after the long-running feud between the two.

Ginny & Georgia’s most important theme has been about mental health. Self-harming, depression, and panic attacks, the show has boldly depicted these themes. Ginny had been struggling with her mental health and had been self-harming since the beginning of the show. The breakthrough moment happens when she finally tells her father about it in the premiere episode of season 2.

Georgia finds out about it after reading Ginny’s therapy notebook and confronts her in episode 6. She makes Ginny show her the scars and asks if she began doing that after Kenny. Ginny informs her that she has been doing this to herself for a long time. Georgia apologizes to Ginny for not noticing her daughter was going through so much.

In a bittersweet moment, the mother and daughter cry together as Georgia tells Ginny to talk to her about her pain. Ginny, being supported by both of her parents in her mental health journey, is one of the biggest moments of the show.
