9-1-1 Season 9 Episode 2 will air on ABC on October 16. The network's most beloved fire procedural is back with its ninth season.
The premiere episode of Season 9 was an exciting hour, which featured Mark Consuelos in a guest appearance. The Riverdale star appeared as a billionaire named Tripp Houser who was swallowed by a humpback whale on his recent kayaking trip. While Tripp was duly saved by the 118, this was just a setup for the upcoming space mission and meteor shower teased in the trailers.
9-1-1 Season 9 has brought back all the returning cast from the beloved procedural, except for Peter Krause's Captain Bobby, who was tragically killed in Season 8.
The latest season is led by Angela Bassett (Athena), followed by the main cast, which includes Oliver Stark (Buck), Ryan Guzman (Eddie), Kenneth Choi (Chimney), Aisha Hinds (Hen), Anirudh Pisharody (Ravi), and Jennifer Love Hewitt (Maddie). Corinne Massiah, Elijah M. Cooper and Tracie Thoms also return in the recurring roles of May & Harry, Athena's children and Karen, Hen's wife, respectively.
