Throughout the 15 seasons of Supernatural, the Winchester brothers have fought numerous otherworldly creatures. 9) Fought about not following John (Season 1, Episode 11)

Season 1 of Supernatural saw many arguments between the Winchester brothers as they began their journey. One of the most prominent disagreements between the brothers happened after talking to their father.
John informs them that he was fine and looking for the demon that killed their mother, and asks them to stop looking for him. Dean decides to follow what his father had said, but Sam refuses as he still wants to go and find him. This causes a huge disagreement between the two, displaying how different the brothers were.
8) Dean and Sam face their conflicted issues about each other (Season 8, Episode 6)

In the Supernatural episode titled, Southern Comfort, Dean gets the possessed Copper Penny in his possession, and under its evil influence, confronts Sam. After being possessed by Vance, Dean tells Sam that he has been deceiving him for the last eight years.
His obsession with demon blood, Mary, and also not looking for Dean when he was trapped in purgatory, has made him betray his own brother. Furthermore, Dean compares Sam with Benny and tells him that the vampire was a better brother to him than Sam. It is later revealed that whatever Dean said to Sam was the grudge that he had held for him for a long time.
7) Sam disagrees with Dean killing Amy (Season 7, Episode 6)
Dean killing Amy, who saved Sam’s life, and later Sam letting go of her even after knowing she killed people to feed his son, resulted in a huge friction between the brothers. Dean had tracked down the woman with kitsune powers and stabbed her to death, which Sam found out later.
In episode 6 of Season 7, Sam finally discovers Dean killing Amy. The rift causes Sam to leave Dean and get on his own, away from his brother, as he disagrees with Dean’s actions.
6) Arguing due to Siren (Season 4, Episode 14)

While disagreeing on many occasions, some of them also arise due to the creatures they hunt. Just as it happens in the Supernatural episode 14 of season 4, when Nick, the siren, influences Dean and commands him to get rid of Sam.
Both the brothers, under the mythic creature’s influence, berate each other. Dean tells Sam that he doesn’t trust Sam anymore, as he has been keeping secrets from him, while Sam tells Dean he is not strong enough anymore and also taunts him about his woes of coming back from hell. Both even begin physically attacking each other until Bobby comes and saves the day.
5) Dean blames Sam for Charlie’s death (Season 10, Episode 22)

Charlie’s death was one of the major deaths that impacted the brothers in different ways, as one was raging to find the perpetrators while the other was grieving the loss. In Season 10 of Supernatural, episode titled, The Prisoner, Dean and Sam find themselves on opposite sides as Dean blames Sam for losing Charlie.
While giving Charlie a hunter’s funeral, Sam tries to apologise to Charlie, but Dean interrupts. While Sam tries to explain himself, Dean, in anger, tells him that it should have been he rather than Charlie who should’ve died and leaves to find who caused Charlie’s death.
4) The argument due to Jack (Season 13, Episode 3)
Dean’s hatred toward Jack was one of the reasons behind many disagreements and arguments between the brothers. As Jack was Lucifer’s son and the cause of Castiel’s death, Dean couldn’t look him in the eyes and told him straight up that if he becomes evil, he won’t hesitate to kill him, while Sam treated him a lot better.
Sam confronts Dean after finding out that he threatened Jack about killing him. However, Dean isn’t apologetic about it as he still thinks Jack is responsible for Castiel’s death, and also tells Sam that his treatment of Jack lies in the false hope of finding their mother alive.
3) Dean’s demon deal causes friction between the brothers (Season 3, Episode 6)

Sam’s death in Supernatural Season 2’s finale was a heartbreaking one that Dean couldn’t take, and he made a deal with a Crossroads Demon to bring Sam back alive. After Sam finds out the deal, he goes and kills it, even after Dean tells him to stay out of it.
Dean later confronts Sam about killing the demon and risking his life, for which Dean made the dangerous deal. However, Sam is not apologetic and doesn’t think he has done anything wrong. This is one of those arguments when the brothers fought for each other’s safety rather than under the influence of a demon or disagreements about other decisions related to their hunter’s job.
2) John’s death resulted in heated arguments between the brothers (Season 2, Episode 2)

John’s death was a turning point in Dean and Sam’s lives as they began their journey to look for their father, but couldn’t save him. The following days were harder on them both, as it was visible with the heightened emotions in them.
In episode 2 of Supernatural Season 2, while trying to repair their Impala in Bobby’s scrapyard, Dean is annoyed by Sam’s nagging and asking if he is fine. While Sam also questions how Dean hasn’t looked keen on finding the yellow-eyed demon, who is responsible for killing their parents. Dean just tells Sam that they don’t have any leads on the demon, and also, they have lost the Colt, which was the only thing that would have helped kill it.
1) Dean confronts Sam (Season 4, Episode 21)
Sam, being addicted to demon blood and obsessed with killing Lillith, worried Dean. He tried to lock him up, but Castiel freed him, which endangered his life as Ruby made him drink more demon blood.
As Sam and Ruby reach to kill Lillith, Dean tries to stop Sam by pleading with him to see Ruby for what she is, as she has been manipulating him into doing something that could hurt him. However, Sam isn’t convinced. That’s when Dean calls him a monster, and the argument gets more heated as they begin fighting each other. While Sam leaves Dean, he gives him the ultimatum of not returning ever, but Sam still ends up leaving.
