Jeopardy! Masters: Juveria Zaheer opens up about her cheering squad for the show's finale
Witnessing quite a loud cheer for one of the finalists, Juveria Zaheer, Jeopardy! Masters host Ken Kennings went and asked her about her cheering squad. Listening to him, Juveria Zaheer opened up and mentioned everyone, who has been there for her.
She started with her "wonderful" and brave daughters and her "patient" husband. Sitting in the front row, they have been cheering for Juveria Zaheer with a lot of energy and positivity. She then joked about having her brother in the audience and said that he was "just okay."
Along with her family members, Juveria Zaheer stated she also had friends whom she had:
"Collected along the way."
The finalist married Mike Collins back in 2009, and they have two daughters. Coming back to her cheering squad, she also had a daughter, who happens to be her colleague. She said the doctor was there to run things smoothly while Juveria Zaheer was on the game show.
She joked that since her friend, also a doctor, was present at Jeopardy! Masters said:
"Yeah, she's here, which means no one's looking over the department. No, I'm kidding. We found a victim. Thank you, Tracy."
Listening to her, Ken said she got the "coverage," but the doctors were there. For the fans who might not know, Zaheer works at a mental health research institute in Ontario, Canada.
For Jeopardy! Masters finals, she will face Victoria Groce and Isaac Hirsch. She will also face Yogesh Raut, and then the three finalists will compete against each other to win the title, the Alex Trebek trophy, and the $500,000 prize pot.
