The interview started with her opening up about what CrossFit was:"CrossFit is a kind of compound workout. Usually, CrossFit is something that fighters or wrestlers do for endurance training. It's called cross-training and fitness, and that's how CrossFit came to be. So a compound workout includes cardio, strength, gymnastics, and weight exercises. For the fans who might not know, Choi Seung-yeon has been a top female athlete. She has also participated in survival shows, including Physical: Asia. Her endurance during one of the challenges featured on the Netflix show was quite impressive. During the hanging endurance task, she managed to stay in the air over ropes for about 2 hours and 40 minutes. "It was so really, really hard. My hip joints felt like they were going to tear. Being hit continuously made the pain a hundred times worse," she noted.Further, Choi Seung-yeon was asked about her upcoming competitions, since Physical: Asia was over. She responded that she was training for Hyrox and Triathlon. She also revealed that many CrossFitters participate in these competitions. But she was the only one from Korea who was participating in it. As in, Hyrox fits inside what CrossFit is. Because Hyrox contains all CrossFit movements. But Hyrox is a race where running is pretty important."She went through her workout, which consisted of multiple 1km runs along with variations in other workouts. It included sled push, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and more. She noted that it was fun. "I feel like I'm going to die. It's fun," shared Choi Seung-yeon. She shared that her goal was the CrossFit World Championship. She mentioned that getting on the podium was her goal, for now, and that's what she was focusing on.
