Ted Danson, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Stephanie Beatriz, Lilah Richcreek Estrada, and Mary Elizabeth Ellis reprise their Season 1 roles. New cast additions to A Man on the Inside Season 2 include:

  1. Gary Cole plays Brad Vinick
  2. Michaela Conlin plays Andrea Yi

  10. Linda Park plays Elizabeth Muki
  11. Lisa Gilroy plays Kelseigh Rose

The one new addition to season 2 is Mary Steenburgen, who is also Ted Danson's wife. Danson was the guest on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to promote season 2 of the Netflix series. There, he opened up about working with his wife in the upcoming second season.

He started by revealing that he doesn't like intimate scenes, but then he also said that he felt comfortable with Steenburgen.

"I hate love scenes with other people. They never paid me to do s*x. I kissed. But no, I was the guy who made jokes about s*x, but not actually [film a s*x scene]."

Danson continued:

"But with Mary, she loves me and I love her, and I can throw myself into it because there’s no guilt. If it’s a stranger, it’s like, ‘Oh, this is wrong. Or is it nice? No, no… it’s wrong! I got to not hold myself back [with Mary] and fall madly in love with my wife [on screen]."

Then, Danson praised his wife, saying:

"Once you meet her, you’ll understand. She’s magnificent and we love each other and we laugh a lot. We both get one ingredient in life, which is so important, that if something goes wrong, you look at yourself knowing and trusting the other person is looking at [themselves], which is what allows you to grow. If you’re with somebody who’s not willing to look at themselves, that doesn’t work."

The entire first season is available on Netflix. Watch it as we wait for the second season.
