Big Brother Season 27 Episode 8 featured the challenge to determine the next Head of the Household (HoH). For that, housemates had to watch a confusing video clip revealing many details.

Later, they were asked true or false questions from the clip. At first, housemates including Keanu, Vince, Kelley, Ashley, and Katherine were eliminated after giving some wrong answers. After that, Rylie, Rachel, Morgan, and Adrian were also eliminated from the challenge.

The final two participants in the race to become the next Head of the Household were Lauren and Mickey. With another confusing video clip, Lauren managed to correctly answer the question. It resulted in her becoming the next Head of the Household in the Big Brother house.

Sharing her excitement after becoming the next HoH, Lauren confessed to the cameras:

"Don't tell anyone but I just won the Head of the Household. Winning Head of Household is absolutely a dream come true for me. If I had to guess, my parents are probably standing up, screaming at the TV right now."

For the second round of the challenge, Jimmy announced they were going to watch a video clip. Competitors will be asked a question from that clip. The remaining housemates, Lauren and Mickey, were ready to witness the clip.

The clip, titled Twin Witness News, featured twin sisters Liz and Julia, who talked about a pickup truck accident. They mentioned many crucial details. It included directions, the sound of the sirens, taking a particular route to the hospital, and more.

"It's time for the first question of round two. True or false: Julia said that the street that was closed was "5th" street." Jimmy announced.

Big Brother housemate Lauren confessed that 5th was the last number that the clip mentioned. Based on how she remembered that one of the last streets was closed, she chose true as her answer.

As for Mickey, she confessed to the cameras:

"I've been doing so good up to this point and now I'm stressed. I honestly just think that it's false."

She chose false as the answer. Further, Jimmy revealed that the statement was true. He congratulated Lauren, who ran out of the playing area in excitement. She stated that becoming the next HoH was a "dream" coming true.

Fellow Big Brother housemates also reacted to Lauren's win and her becoming the new Head of the Household (HoH).

"Thank God Lauren wins. I am just so incredibly relieved. There is genuinely no one that I would want to win HoH more than Lauren this week," confessed Katherine.

Morgan was surprised and said "okay" to Lauren's win. She talked about her excitement for Lauren but was also concerned about her safety.
