Acorn TV is gearing up for Fall 2025 with an exciting lineup of Agatha Christie's mysteries. Following the streamer's recent success with Murder Mystery May, which saw record viewership on the platform, Acorn TV is launching An Autumn to Die For from September 22.
An Autumn to Die For should be your go-to for Fall 2025, which is a month-long showcase of some of the best mysteries on the small screen. In addition to many other titles like The Crow Girl and Murder Before Evensong, Acorn TV is bringing back many of Christie's mysteries after a five-year hiatus, including Poirot.
Mystery genre fans can attest that Agatha Christie is one of the best-known English authors, who has written more than 60 detective novels and 14 short stories.

Agatha Christie's mysteries return on Acorn TV after a five-year hiatus
Doing justice to its name, Acorn TV is finally returning to its roots with Agatha Christie's mysteries. While the network was once home to many exciting mysteries from the legendary author, some titles were removed following distribution negotiations.
However, the partnership between Acorn Media and PBS/Masterpiece has finally been re-established, and major Christie mysteries will return on Acorn TV after a five-year hiatus, just in time for Fall 2025.
Below is the schedule for all of Agatha Christie's mysteries returning on Acorn TV under its An Autumn to Die For event:
Agatha Christie’s Poirot: The Early Cases (Seasons 1-6)- This title will have all Christie fans jumping with joy as the 1989 British mystery series has finally returned on Acorn TV. This series follows 45 exciting mysteries featuring Christie's most famous sleuth, Poirot, as he delves into his particular brand of detective work on his early cases. English actor David Suchet plays the character of Hercule Poirot. Poirot: The Later Cases (Seasons 9-13) will also return on September 29.
Marple Seasons 1-6 (September 22): After Poirot, Christie's renowned elderly sleuth, Miss Marple, will also return on Acorn TV on September 22. While Marple appears frail, she is one of the most popular female detectives in the genre, and is played by actresses Geraldine McEwan (2004-2009) and Julia McKenzie (2009-2013).
Tommy & Tuppence (October 6): Agatha Christie's famous partners in crime, Tommy & Tuppence, debuted on British television in 1983 and became a classic couple solving whodunit mysteries. James Warwick and Francesca Annis portray the titular detective couple in the show.
Why Didn’t They Ask Evans? (October 13): This 1980 film is a Fall classic for many Agatha Christie fans, and is finally returning on Acorn TV in October 2025. Starring Francesca Annis, John Gielgud, and Bernard Miles, the movie follows a suspenseful story about a stranger, whose cryptic last words, “Why didn’t they ask Evans?” become a tickling mystery.
Sparkling Cyanide (October 13): This 2003 TV movie adapted another of Agatha Christie's highly popular novels. Acorn TV users will surely connect with this mystery classic as it relocates Christie's story to a glamorous world of London socialites and secret agents. The movie stars Kenneth Cranham and Rachel Shelley.
Seven Dials Mystery (October 13): This 1981 TV movie stars Cheryl Campbell as Lady Eileen "Bundle" Brent, a young aristocrat who gets entangled in murders, secrets, and a secret society. Lady Brent is another iconic Christie character, who also appears in her 1925 novel The Secret of Chimneys.
