Netflix's Nobody Wants This premiered in October 2025 and became another successful season of the Romantic comedy series. It follows the story of how Adam Brody's Noah, a Rabbi, finds love with an agnostic woman named Joanna, played by Kristen Stewart. In Season 2, the series depicted more crucial milestones in their love story, such as tackling issues about their different belief systems and their impact on their relationship.

After a hit Season 2, fans have started anticipating Season 3 of Nobody Wants This, which was recently renewed, and even the stars have revealed some of their demands for the storyline of Season 3. In a Hollywood Reporter interview, Brody, who plays Noah, revealed that he asked Erin Foster, the creator of the hit series, if he could have more scenes with Timothy Simons, who plays his older brother, Sasha.

More on this in our story.

Nobody Wants This: Adam Brody wants more scenes with Timothy Simons in Season 3

In Season 2 of Nobody Wants This, Joanna and Noah had to choose between religion and their relationship. While they did break up as Noah initially wanted Joanna to convert to Judaism, in the end, it didn't actually matter to him. As Noah realised that their love did not need Joanna's conversion to survive and wanted to tell her that, Joanna, on the other hand, realised that Judaism solved many of her issues and was ready to convert.

At the end, they rekindled their relationship not because of Joanna deciding to convert but because they chose what's best for them without any emotional pressure on them.

With the powerful ending of Season 2, fans now cannot wait to see what challenges Joanna and Noah, and the other characters, might face in Season 3. Not just the fans, the actors also have certain demands for their storylines in the upcoming Season 3. While talking to the Hollywood Reporter, Adam Brody revealed his wish to have more scenes with Timothy Simons in season 3 and said:

"When I saw the second season, I called Erin and I said, ‘I really liked it and I have just a few thoughts for maybe season three I want to whisper in your ear.’ I don’t know if they’re gonna be manifested or not, but I was like, ‘No. 1, could I have more scenes with Tim?"

To his request, the creator of the series, Erin Foster, teased and shared:

"And we said no."

She further revealed that neither Brody nor Kristen Stewart did a chemistry read with each other, but did it with the actors who would play their siblings. As many actors auditioned for the role of Sasha, Noah's elder brother, the team was unable to decide who they should finalise for the role.

Foster revealed that she asked Brody who he felt the most comfortable with, and he took Simons' name, which might be one of the reasons Simons was given the role of Sasha. While we might not know whether Brody's request will be granted or not, we can be sure that Season 3 of Nobody Wants This will be crucial for Sasha and Esther's relationship after Esther decided to end it at the finale of Season 2.
