Ahsoka Cast and character guide: Who plays whom in the Star Wars show

Disney+'s Ahsoka, a Star Wars franchise show and a spin-off from The Mandalorian, debuted in August 2023.

It follows the story of Ahsoka Tano, who joins forces with her former apprentice to fight against the remaining forces of the Empire, led by Admiral Thrawn and save Ezra Bridger.

The series was also renewed for Season 2 and is currently in production. It will likely be released in 2026.

The main and recurring cast members will return for the sophomore season.

Ahsoka: Main cast and character guide to the Star Wars show

The main cast for the Disney+ show, who will also reprise their characters in Season 2, are as follows:

1) Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano

American actress Rosario Dawson plays the titular role in the Star Wars show. Dawson is famously known for her other projects, including Daredevil, Jane the Virgin and Dopesick.

She made her debut as Tano in the 2020 series The Mandalorian, which paved the way for her own spin-off series in August 2023.

The former Jedi apprentice of Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Season 1 followed her journey as she joined her former apprentice, Sabine Wren, to prevent Grand Admiral Thrawn from uniting the Empire against the New Republic.

2) Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren

Australian actress Natasha Liu Bordizzo is best known for her work in Netflix's The Society and Mythic Quest and rose to fame as the Mandalorian warrior Sabine Wren in the Disney+ series.

Initially taken under Tano's wing after Star Wars: Rebels, the duo parted ways after Sabine's family was killed in the purge of Mandalore. In Ahsoka Season 1, she joined forces with Tano to thwart Thrawn's plans to reunite the Empire.

3) Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader

Hayden Christensen made his debut as Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002) and has since played the character across multiple Star Wars' shows and movies.

Anakin Skywalker was Tano's former Jedi master who eventually joined the dark side of the Force and became Darth Vader. He appears as a Force Ghost in the Disney+ series, who helps his former apprentice complete her Jedi training.

4) Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn

Danish actor Lars Mikkelsen made his live-action debut as Grand Admiral Thrawn from the Star Wars animated series Rebels and Tales of the Empire.

A Chiss high-ranking officer of the Empire, Admiral Thrawn is known for his cunning and strategic mind, and is always ahead of his enemies. In Ahsoka Season 1, he reunites with his followers and the Nightsisters on Peredia to find Ezra Bridger.

5) Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger

American actor and filmmaker Eman Esfandi rose to fame after debuting as Ezra Bridger in Ahsoka Season 1.

Ezra Bridger was born the day the Empire was formed and was taught by several masters after the tragic deaths of his parents while fighting against the Empire. In the Disney+ series, Sabine and Tano join forces to rescue Ezra from another galaxy after the fall of the Empire.
