All the confirmed actors and their roles in the Harry Potter TV series revealed till now

Max's next project is the Harry Potter television series, which is set to broadcast in 2026 or 2027. All seven novels will be carefully re-enacted, with one book being completely explored in each season.

As an executive producer, J.K. Rowling helps to ensure that the story stays true to the original. A new cast will bring the characters to life, giving fans a fresh take on the beloved series.

With a fresh cast and one book every season, HBO's Harry Potter TV series will retell the fabled story and has mainly confirmed Dominic McLaughlin as Harry, John Lithgow as Dumbledore, and Arabella Stanton as Hermione, along with some more cast. The series will be released in 2026.

HBO's upcoming Harry Potter TV series has been one of the hottest anticipated projects in recent years. The program, a complete relaunch of J.K. Rowling's well-known novels, will focus on one book every season, giving viewers more time to explore the fascinating environment. Casting announcements have already begun to arrive, with production expected to start in 2025 and a release date set for 2026.

Dominic McLaughlin will play the character Harry Potter. He is best recognized for his roles in Grow and Gifted. Arabella Stanton, a talented stage actress who played Matilda on London's West End, has been cast as Hermione Granger. Alastair Stout, who rose to prominence in an Albert Bartlett potato commercial, will play Ron Weasley.

John Lithgow, a seasoned actor, will play Albus Dumbledore. He adds depth and experience with his award-winning roles in Interstellar and The Crown. Professor Minerva McGonagall will be portrayed by Janet McTeer, who has starred in Ozark and The Menu. It is anticipated that both performers will have a powerful on-screen presence.

The supporting cast and other members of the team include Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape and Nick Frost, best known for his role in Shaun of the Dead, who would play Rubeus Hagrid in the show.

Professor Quirrell will be played by rising theatrical talent Luke Thallon, while Argus Filch will be portrayed by well-known British comedian Paul Whitehouse. It is interesting to note that in a sequence cut from the original film, he played Sir Cadogan.

The ensemble consists of a mix of up-and-coming artists and established celebrities, with more roles yet to be confirmed. Global fans are eager to see how this timeless story is brought to life in the new rendition.
