PBS's feel-good dramedy, All Creatures Great and Small Season 6, is coming to Masterpiece on PBS this January.
Before we roll into, who plays whom in the latest installment of the hit series, let's have a quick run-through of where we left off.
Previously, in All Creatures Great and Small, Mrs. Audrey Hall was left worried when she learnt the tragic news that the ship her son Edward was serving on was sunk by Japan. Two weeks later, on a Christmas morning, Edward informed his mother that he was alive but had sustained injuries.
For two weeks, the Herriots and others comforted Mrs. Hall, but she found solace by caring for an injured little fox. Upon her insistence, a senior vet treated it, and it managed to survive. Meanwhile, Tristan was back at Dorrowby. Elsewhere, little Jamie, James and Helen's son, turned a year old. In the end, Mrs. Hall thanked everyone who cared for her during the tough times.
The synopsis for All Creatures Great and Small reads as follows (via IMDb):
"James Herriot, fresh out of Glasgow Veterinary College, pursues his dream to become a vet in the Yorkshire Dales. He discovers that treating the animals is as much about treating their owners, and the Dales' farmers are a tough to please."
All Creatures Great and Small Season 6 will take a three-year leap. It is set in May 1945, and we'll get a sneak peek into the lives of the characters adjusting to their lives post-war.
