Love Is Blind Season 9: Madison and Joe discuss past relationships, former partners, and more in a deleted scene
Recently, Netflix revealed a deleted scenes clip featuring some of the participants from Love Is Blind season 9. One of the scenes in the clip featured Joe and Madison's first pod date. After introducing each other, Joe asked her if there was something particular she was looking for in a partner.
"Something that's huge for me is somebody that is very emotionally intelligent. I love words of affirmation. Basically, you know, tell me you love me, tell me I'm pretty, give me all the pretty words, and then show me through your actions, right?" shared Madison.
Listening to Madison, Joe noted who doesn't like being told they're good-looking and other such things.
"Who doesn't want to hear, you have a sexy voice, Joe. Like, who doesn't want to hear that?" added Madison.
Love Is Blind star Joe noted that he was blushing. He added that the "sexy voice" got him going. Madison laughed and told him that she felt similar to phone s*x operators. She mimicked in a different voice, acting as an operator, which made Joe laugh even more.
Further in their date, the two talked about their liking for Golf.
"Down in San Antonio, I spent three years down there. I'd golf every week 'cause it was sunny and it was nice," shared Joe.
Madison asked if he was from San Antonio. Joe responded that he was from Billings, Montana. He noted that his past relationship didn't work out. Hence, he left. Madison told him that it was funny that all their exes lived in Texas.
Love Is Blind star Joe laughed and asked if any of her former partners lived there. Madison said yes. She added that it was the reason why she lived in Houston two years ago with her former partner.
When Madison asked Joe how long his last relationship lasted, he said "a little while." But when she asked again, he responded, 5 years.
"We were engaged at the time, and...and, uh, broke it off. My heart wasn't behind it. I was never as excited as I think I should have been. Like, I'm getting married to somebody, and I should be super excited and happy," revealed Joe.
Further, Love Is Blind star Madison talked about her past relationship. She noted that she found out her boyfriend was going to propose to her. She told Joe about the excitement, and if it was not there, it wouldn't be right.
