"America tried to help y'all": Love Island USA fans criticize Islanders for saving Huda in the elimination

Love Island USA Season 7 Episode 14 featured the latest recoupling ceremony. After the male islanders chose their connection, who also chose them in return, there was an elimination.

Two Islanders were left without their connection: Huda and Jalen. Love Island USA host Ariana Madix stated that one of them would be going home. She then revealed that Islanders would be voting for the Islander they wanted to save.

While eight Islanders voted to save for Huda, four voted to save Jalen. As a result, Huda was saved from the latest elimination, and Jalen was eliminated.

Witnessing the elimination results, Love Island USA fans disagreed. Fans criticized the Islanders who voted in favor of Huda because they were often seen talking behind her back. They took to the social media platform X and shared their thoughts about how there was a chance to eliminate Huda, but the Islanders didn't take it.

The latest recoupling ceremony featured in episode 14 saw the development of new pairings. It included:

After all the participants chose their partners and coupled up, Huda and Jalen were still single. Love Island USA host Ariana Madix asked both of them to join her.

"For one of you, the door will be closing on your Love Island journey, as someone will be leaving the island tonight. Who stays and who goes, it's up to your fellow Islanders," announced Ariana.

The host then instructed the Islanders to vote as individuals. She told them to stand behind whoever they wanted to save, Huda or Jalen. Ariana called up each of the couples, and they stood behind the Islander they wanted to save.
