Amsterdam Empire Season 1 ending explained: Betty and the others capture Noud

To protect Jack's life and business, Betty and the other hatch a plan and capture Noud in Jack's cabin in the woods at the end of Amsterdam Empire. After torturing him to reveal his phone's password, Katja texts Gijs to meet at a specific location.
While being skeptical, Gijs still reaches the location where Harry, an assassin hired by Shanti, was already waiting for them. Harry and his men end up killing most of their men, but Gijs still survives and goes to find the people behind the ambush.
Elsewhere, Katja sends her brother, Patrick, to talk to Jack to keep Marjolein out of everything and stop her from calling the police. While Jack does that, Marjolein also learns about what kind of people the Tricholaars are and breaks her relationship with Jack.
Amsterdam Empire Season 1 ending explained: Gijs is killed by the women
Betty, Shanti, and Katja are not aware of Gijs surviving at the end of the Amsterdam Empire. Furthermore, Noud also unties himself and tries to take Shanti hostage to save himself, but the three women still manage to beat him. It's the arrival of Gijs that throws them off guard.
During their fight, Gijs ends up killing Noud, giving the women the opportunity to attack him. As a result, Betty burns him and kills Gijs. With the Tichelaars dead, Jack and his business become secure again. However, Betty's revenge was still left.
At the end, Jack decides to give Betty 50% of his property, but Betty asks him to give her the Jackal, which Jack refuses to give. She then pulls out the lighter that she found in the cabin while interrogating Noud. The lighter belonged to Guido, and its being found at Jack's cabin proved that he is responsible for his former partner's death.
To protect himself and keep this a secret, Jack ends up giving the Jackal to Betty at the end.
