Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 Finale: Three finalists, a final relationship test, and winners' announcement with a twist
Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 Finale started with the final rose ceremony. Viewers witnessed Keith and Kathy's self-elimination. After that, three couples remained on the show:
- Andrew Spencer and Alexe Godin,
- Kat Izzo and Dale Moss,
- Jess Edwards and Spencer Conley.
After the strength competition, Spencer and Godin advanced to the show's finale. They had a chance to win the cash prize and win the competition.
Eliminated cast members returned for voting, and soon there were arguments. IT started when Kat was accused of having a boyfriend. It was said that she sent love letters using a secret laptop. However, Dale took Kate's side and supported her.
While Kat got emotional, he said:
"I don't give a f*ck what happened...I'm standing by her."
He also stated that fellow participant Sean ran a smear campaign against her. Later, the two were voted out, and it resulted in Jess and Spencer moving to the finale against Alexe and Andrew. Soon, Kat and Dale left the show before the final challenge.
Two finalist couples went through the final relationship test on Bachelor in Paradise Season 10's final. It was to choose between money and love. Among couples, if both participants chose love, they would leave the show with a "genuine" relationship and would walk away without any prize money.
However, if one of them were to choose money and the other one picked love, the one who chose money would leave with $250,000. In the case that both participants were to pick money, they would walk away single and without any prize money.
Surprisingly, each of the Bachelor in Paradise finalists chose love. However, Alexe thought about choosing money, as she wanted to pay her student loans.
Later, they were supposed to choose one of three total envelopes. They contained prize money up to $250,000. While Alexe and Andrew's chosen envelope had $125,000, Spencer and Jess got $190,000.
After winning the prize money, both couples took a step forward in their relationship. Spencer got on one knee and proposed to Jess:
"You always lead with honesty and what's right, even when it's something that's not easy to do. I am so in love with you, and you let me know the same. Jessica Taylor Edwards, would you make me the happiest man on the face of the planet, and would you marry me?"
The two got engaged, while Alexe and Andrew announced their relationship and became girlfriend and boyfriend.
