Netflix is here with its latest Spanish-language thriller series, Billionaires' Bunker, by none other than Money Heist creator Álex Pina.
Pina's crime drama series Money Heist debuted on the platform in 2017 and gained immense popularity, even winning the International Emmy Award for Best Drama Series.
In addition to Money Heist, Pina has also created three other Spanish-language shows for Netflix, including Sky Rojo, White Lines, and Berlin. Billionaires' Bunker will mark Pina's fifth collaboration with the platform and will debut on Netflix on September 19, 2025.
According to IMDb, the official synopsis for the show reads as follows:
''When World War III is about to break out, a group of billionaires takes refuge in a luxury bunker. Through screens, they watch the spectacle of the world they knew collapsing above their heads.''
The thriller series will follow a post-apocalyptic world, where a few billionaires will live in a luxury bunker, as the world around them burns to pieces.
The show is co-created by Esther Martínez Lobato and co-directed by David Barrocal and Jesús Colmenar.

Everything to know about Money Heist's creator's new show, Billionaires' Bunker
In a recent date announcement video, Netflix confirmed that the show will have a total of eight episodes and will be released on September 19, 2025.
As revealed in the synopsis, Billionaires' Bunker will follow the elite refugees as they step into their luxurious bunker, Kimera Underground Park. This underground hole will become their haven, a safe space that will save them from the burning world outside, but tensions will soon seep into their idyllic community.
As the IMDb synopsis reads:
''As the situation outside becomes increasingly terrifying, they'll enjoy an underground city with basketball court, restaurant, zen garden, cocktail bar, psychologist's couch, gym and spa. Their ancient privilege will be reduced to a life adapted to a luxurious hole, an underground universe full of enigmas where a wound from the past will explode between two conflicting families.''
No matter the luxuries, they will soon be made aware of the restrictions of their underground bunker, which will eventually create problems for them. Billionaires' Bunker will follow their descent into these underground bunkers, while they adjust to their new reality.
Money Heist ended up becoming a global phenomenon, even paving the way for its spin-off show Berlin. Since Netflix's latest series is created by the same brains behind the hit franchise, it remains to be seen whether the show will be able to re-create the magic of its predecessor.
