Black Rabbit Episode 6, Attaf**kinboy answered a long-standing mystery that was set up back in the opening scene of the first episode, The Cyclone. The Jude Law and Jason Bateman-led series opens with a restaurant (that shares its name with the title of the series) getting robbed by thieves, but the scene then cuts to a month before this robbery.

Thus, the sixth episode returns to the major moment and gives the identity of the crew that would go on to rob the restaurant in the opening scene of the first episode. This happens because of the restaurant owner Jake Friedken (Jude Law)'s information in the closing minutes of the fifth episode, Trailblazer to Junior (loan shark Joe Mancuso's son) and Babbitt (Joe's right-hand man).

The synopsis for Black Rabbit Episode 6 reads:

"As deals, debts and double-crosses intensify, all roads lead to one fateful night at the Rabbit."

Black Rabbit Episode 6 recap:

Here are some of the key plot points in Black Rabbit Episode 6, Attaf**kinboy:

  • Jake and Vince's past

The sixth episode opens with a flashback to Jake and Vince's childhood. This scene fits well after the brothers' brutal fight in the fifth episode, which ended with the brothers declaring the end of their relationship. In this flashback, we see the brothers get their watch from their father (the same one that one of the thieves is trying to steal in the opening scene of the first episode).

  • Jake helps Junior and Babbit

In the present, Jake returns home after his and Vince's abduction, where he and Estelle have a conversation about their affair, which began in the third episode. The problem is that she is Wes, the restaurant's investor's romantic partner, which is revealed to the latter in the fifth episode by Roxie (unknown to Estelle and Jake). Thus, Jake expresses ignorance about how Wes learned about his and Estelle's affair.

After that, the scene shifts to Jake taking Junior and Babbit on how to break into the restaurant. He also gives them the codes to the safe, but doesn't take them to the restaurant to show them because of Anna's memorial at the venue. However, Jake mistakenly believes that the robbery has been called off after a meeting with Mancuso.

  • Detective Seung questions Jake

At Anna's memorial, Detective Ellen Seung questions Jake about the surveillance cameras in the restaurants. Jake informs her that the management deletes footage from the restaurant at the end of the week. Ellen does so based on Tony's and Roxie's information to her that Jake ignores the latter's request to ban Jules, the man who s**ually a**aulted Anna.

Tony overhears what Jake tells Detective Seung and agrees to check if the footage is really deleted. After sneaking into Jake's office, Tony finds out that the footage has really been erased.

  • While Junior is there, Babbit is not his partner

The last act of the episode harkens back to the opening scene of the first episode. Jake has called Tony on the upper floor for toast, and as the latter is on the way, he comes across the two robbers, and the rest of the scene plays out the way it did in the opening scene of episode 1. However, there's a change, though; Junior's partner is not Babbit. Instead, it is Vince, a twist viewers did not see coming.

Turns out Vince was trying to get to Florida on a bus after his contentious fallout with Jake. However, he misses it, and Junior convinces Vince to join his partner after Babbit is apprehensive about going ahead with the robbery. Now, the scene shifts to Junior and Vince in the middle of the robbery as it doesn't go according to plan.

As they try to get away, Junior blames Jake for the plan going south, and he is about to shoot the restaurant's owner. But Vince shoots Junior before she can pull the trigger on Jake, ending the episode.

"Set against the backdrop of New York City’s high-pressure nightlife scene, Black Rabbit centers around two brothers who learn just how far family, and the pursuit of success, can push them to the edge. Jake Friedken (Jude Law) is the charismatic owner of Black Rabbit, a restaurant and VIP lounge, poised to become the hottest spot in New York. But when his brother, Vince (Jason Bateman), returns to the business unexpectedly, trouble soon follows; opening the door to old traumas and new dangers that threaten to bring down everything they’ve built. Black Rabbit is a propulsive thrill ride and character examination about the way an unbreakable bond between two brothers can shatter their world and everything in its orbit."

Black Rabbit is accessible in its entirety via streaming on Netflix. As of now, it is unclear if the story is continuing or not.
