BMF cast and character guide: Who plays whom in the Starz drama?

The BMF Season 4 finale is all set to premiere on Starz on Friday, August 15, 2025. The crime drama series is based on the story of brothers Demetrius "Big Meech" Flenory and Terry "Southwest T" Flenory, who go on to create the Black Mafia Family.

The series first premiered in 2021 and garnered favorable reception from audiences and critics alike. The BMF cast includes Demetrius Flenory Jr., Da'Vinchi and Michole Briana White, among others. Season 4 of the series comprises 10 episodes.

BMF Season 4 Cast

Demetrius Flenory Jr., as Demetrius "Big Meech" Flenory, is the drug lord from Southwest Detroit, running the mafia empire. Demetrius Flenory has also appeared in Euphoria as the character Travis, a DJ and producer.

Da'Vinchi as Terry "Southwest T": Flenory is Meech’s brother, who also runs the drug business. Da'Vinchi is known for shows such as Grown-ish, The Boys, and All American.

Russell Hornsby as Charles Flenory: Meech and Terry’s father. Russell Hornsby has appeared in shows such as Lincoln Heights, Grimm, and The Affair.

Michole Briana White as Lucille Flenory: Meech and Terry’s mother. Michole Briana White is known for her roles in Ballard, Dead To Me and Atlanta.

Myles Truitt as B-Mickie: Meech and Terry’s friend who, after a fallout, is trying to earn his place back. Myles Truitt is known for playing Issa Williams in Black Lightning.

Alani "La La" Anthony as Markisha Taylor: Terry’s love interest. She had appeared in Grown-ish, The Chi, and East New York, among others.

Steve Harris as Detective Bryant: A detective working towards bringing down the brothers. Steve Harris is known for his roles in The Practice and Awake.

Roberto Sanchez as Loco: Meech and Terry’s person in Mexico. Roberto Sanchez has been part of shows such as Dexter: Original Sin, Running Point, and Palm Royale.

Sydney Mitchell as LaWanda: The person who handles Terry’s domestic life. Sydney Mitchell has also appeared in First Wives Club and Kingdom Business.

About BMF on Starz

The hit series is set in the 1980s and early 1990s in Southwest Detroit, where the two brothers come together to create a criminal empire. In Season 4, we find the brothers trying to navigate through some unforeseen challenges during their visit to Mexico.

The final episode of the season may see the Southwest Detroit brothers expanding their business in California. With the Atlanta operation taking a hit, Meech and T could be looking to find some solidity within the current setup, all the while facing the many challenges from the outside, especially the repercussions from Loco’s death.
