LEGO Masters season 5 dropped its brand new episode on May 26, 2025. It featured a wide array of challenges for the builders as they invited new teams on the stage.
The episode featured a wedding theme where the teams had to team up with each other to create a wedding cake using nothing but Legos.
The judges for this season on Fox are Amy Corbett and Jamie Berard, who are doing everything in their power to make the competition as tough as possible. Well, this time, they have chosen psychological warfare and tampered with the ticking clock.
With the LEGO Masters season starting, Jamie Berard revealed that they will take the clock away. This meant that the contestants would not know how much time they had left to build their LEGO sets.
It is an especially tough situation because even though the clock was bothersome before and many wished that it would go away, it at least gave the builders some liberty to manage their time accordingly and plan for the future. Now, they will never know. Talking about the same, Jamie says,
"It’s one of those reminders, you gotta be careful what you wish for. On day one, the builders are like, ‘I wish that clock would go away.’ And it goes away! Then they’re like, ‘No! Bring it back!”
Adding to this sentiment and expressing her opinion, Amy Corbett said,
"Especially when you’re in the zone; you’re creating, and you can totally lose track of time. So building without seeing the clock is totally wild — but we don’t want to make it easy for our builders."
LEGO Masters Season 5 Episode 2 Recap
LEGO Masters season 5 episode 2 began with the brickmasters announcing the wedding cake that builders have to build. The winners of the challenge will be the contestants who have made the tallest cake made of LEGO.
The teams were asked to pair with each other, and each of them was given an even personalized theme to work with.
Corey and Rebecca paired up Anthony and Joe to make a wedding cake based on a Zookeeper and scientist theme. Nikki and Brittan were asked to use the theme of a ferry captain, while John and Justin worked with an ice queen.
Anne and Luke were given a T-Rex fan while Maia and Jamie, those they were working with, were to tackle a cardboard robot. Sage and Ian were handed the Royal Guard while their mates Ben and Michael were given an aristocrat to work with. The last team of four was Marcella and Krista, paired with Alex and Tone, and given a carrot and corn theme.
The winners of the round on LEGO Masters were Team Ferry Captain and Ice Queen, as their story behind the build was compelling, and the structure was solid. As for the height, Team T-Rex and Cardboard robot dominated the round.
The losing teams were Team Carrot and Corn, as well as Zoologist and Scientist. However, nobody went home in this LEGO Masters episode.
LEGO Masters season 5 releases new episodes weekly on FOX at 8 PM Eastern Time on Mondays. Later, they are available to stream online via Hulu.
