Rose Ayling-Ellis stars as the protagonist Alison in Code of Silence. She is a deaf girl who works at the police canteen and gets picked up by a detective because of her lip-reading skills. Although she says yes to the project, she does not have any idea what she is signing up for, as the team wants to get hold of a dangerous gang of criminals.

Rose Ayling-Ellis herself is a deaf artist, and her previous projects include Doctor Who, EastEnders, Strictly Come Dancing, Reunion, etc.

Charlotte Ritchie plays Ashleigh

Charlotte Ritchie plays the role of Ashleigh, the sergeant detective who seeks out Alison to help the department. It is she who takes notice of Alison’s lip-reading skills and realizes that she can be of great help to catch the gang of criminals they are after.

Charlotte Ritchie has previously been seen in Ghosts, Call the Midwife, Fresh Meat, Grantchester, etc.

Kieron Moore plays Liam

Kieron Moore stars as Liam, who is a hacker but originates from a troubled background. His character gains importance as the series progresses and he gets closer to Alison. As Alison gets further entangled in the police investigation with criminals, Liam’s character gains more significance because of his possible ties to them as well.
