Colleen Reed and Matt Bolton from Love is Blind Season 3 have announced via a shared Instagram post that they are divorcing. The ex-couple also revealed that they have been separated for a while now and wish to navigate through the whole situation privately.

Things have always been rocky for the two since they met in the pods. When they had not seen each other, Colleen and Matt seemed to be in love. However, once the two went for their honeymoon on Love is Blind, their relationship started to change, especially from Matt's side.

He used to pass subtle hints at Colleen about his disapproval of her talking to Cole, one of the other connections she had made in the pods.

Despite it all, the two decided to get married during the finale and read their vows to each other. However, as the season aired on Netflix, there were many comments about their marriage, and viewers speculated that it would not last. Many fans felt that Matt controlled Colleen too much and was dimming her light.

As the Love is Blind Season 3 couple has decided to part ways, they expressed,

"We wanted to share something personal, and this is not easy to do, but after nearly four years together, we've decided to end our marriage and move forward on our own paths. We've been separated for some time now and have being our best to work through everything privately and with care.

Adding, they wrote,

"This was an incredibly difficult decision, not one we made lightly. It came with a lot of thought and it's been an emotional process for both of us. We met in the most unique and unexpected way, and we'll always be grateful for the love and memories we've shared. There's not one thing we would change, and we continue to have deep respect and care for one another."

Love is Blind couple Matt and Colleen met with a lot of criticism

Soon after the season 3 finale aired, Matt and Colleen appeared on the Love is Blind reunion, where fans pointed out that Colleen looked uncomfortable with Matt despite them saying that they are happily married. Another fact that stood out to them was how they had not moved in together even after being married for a year.

However, Colleen decided to be vocal about the same and talked about her relationship with Cosmopolitan. She revealed that during the time reunion for her season was filmed, she was not in a good headspace and had "anxiety" due to the negative comments she received.

She said she felt bad while strangers on the internet were criticising her choices and looks online, and that was the reason for her discomfort.
