Countdown Episode 6 is set to release on Prime Video next week on Wednesday, as Jensen Ackles' latest crime thriller keeps climbing to the top spots in terms of streaming success. This week's story ended with a lot of questions and on an intense note surrounding Volchek's latest terror plot against the United States.

Moreover, Mark's brain condition is also getting worse, and we have even seen him pass out once in episode 5 - so that is a major challenge moving forward. With Volchek's real identity (Borys Volsovich) out in the open, the task force has a proper lead for the first time but it's a race against time.

The title of the upcoming Countdown episode is 'A Needle or a Bullet,' and it will have a runtime of around 50 minutes, like the previous ones. Countdown Episode 6 will premiere on Prime Video on July 16, sharp at midnight P.T., which also corresponds to 3:30 p.m. E.T.

Prime Video provides a wide range of subscriptions for its users ranging from $8.99 to $14.99 a month (depending on whether it is an Amazon Prime pack or not). For uninterrupted services, users will have to pay an extra montly amount of $2.99. The annual Amazon Prime subscription costs $139.

What to expect from Countdown Episode 6?

The previous Countdown episode concluded with tension and turmoil as Nathan Blythe's task force almost gets caught in their undercover mission at the Belarusian Consulate. But kudos to the team's presence of mind, Mark Meachum's fearless stance, and Agent Blythe's conversation skills, that they are able to make it out in one piece.

The closing sequence of Countdown Episode 5 centers on the Wilshere Federal Building as the cameras focus on Nathan Blythe. On the other hand, Volchek, aka Borys, is planning something evil, and right in front of him is the blueprint of the same building where our FBI leader is spotted entering.

Is the leader's life at stake? Will Volchek go to the extent of harming a federal officer directly? And if he does, will the rest of the team be able to figure it out and save Nathan? These few questions are crucial while discussing the plot of Countdown Episode 6, or rather, what we are expecting?

The title also seems to be a riddle - 'A Needle or a Bullet'. Needle might refer to the use of drugs, and bullet probably signifies someone's life hanging in the balance. Given her history, Oliveras is the first name that comes to mind (while talking about using drugs), but how does she fit in all this? Will she play a crucial role in the upcoming chapter? Will she come across a situation where she'll be forced to choose between a need and a bullet? It all remains to be seen.
