In mid-May 2025, Amazon Prime Video announced that it had ordered "Delphi," the first live-action television extension of the Creed film universe. This series order was revealed during Amazon's upfront presentation on May 12, 2025, representing a move to bring the boxing world of Creed from the big screen to streaming television. The story will be set at the Delphi gym, which was introduced in the Creed films, and will center on the experiences of aspiring young boxers.

Amazon Prime Video has ordered Delphi as a live-action continuation of the Creed films

Amazon confirmed that Delphi will launch exclusively on Prime Video, further expanding the intellectual property it acquired with MGM's purchase in 2022. This is the first occasion that the Creed world, which originated from the Rocky franchise, will be presented in a serialized television format. With MGM's acquisition, Amazon gained the rights to both the Rocky and Creed franchises, allowing it to create new narratives within these established worlds.

The storyline will follow young boxers training at the Delphi gym

Although full plot details remain under wraps, the series is billed as focusing on "young boxers at the Delphi gym," the setting where Adonis Creed trains and mentors fighters in the films. By shifting the lens to newer characters, it aims to explore fresh perspectives within the same boxing milieu without continuing Adonis Creed's narrative arc. This approach mirrors how Creed itself branched off from Rocky, featuring the next generation of fighters.

Michael B. Jordan and Marco Ramirez will take leading creative roles

Michael B. Jordan will serve as an executive producer on Delphi through his Outlier Society banner, furthering his creative involvement beyond his lead acting role in the films. Marco Ramirez, known for his work on Marvel's Daredevil and The Defenders, has been appointed showrunner and will also executive produce the series. This collaboration integrates Jordan's original vision for Creed with Ramirez's experience in television writing and production.

Outlier Society and Winkler Films will collaborate on production

The production team for Delphi includes Outlier Society Productions, as well as Winkler Films, represented by Irwin Winkler, David Winkler, and Charles Winkler, who have produced every Creed installment to date.

Outlier Society has a first-look deal with Amazon MGM Studios, making it one of the initial projects under that agreement. This collaboration brings together legacy Creed producers and Amazon's internal studio resources.

No cast list or premiere date has been announced yet

Amazon has not disclosed any casting decisions for Delphi, nor has it established a production schedule or release window. Viewers can anticipate further updates, including casting announcements and trailer drops, as pre-production progresses. Until then, details such as episode count and filming locations remain speculative.

Jordan and Marco Ramirez at the helm, supported by both Outlier Society and Winkler Films, the series aims to introduce a new dimension to a franchise rooted in boxing history. While many specifics are still pending, the May 12 order confirms Amazon's intent to expand the Creed-Rocky legacy into serialized streaming content.
