Dancing With The Stars Season 34 Episode 9 Recap: Things turn emotional with Tom Bergeron's return, while the remaining dancing pairs deliver extraordinary performances

The latest Dancing With The Stars Season 34 Episode 9 featured six remaining dancing contestants. Along with the regular judges Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli, the guest judge was Tom Bergeron.

Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten delivered a freestyle performance. Witnessing such an amazing performance at the beginning of the episode, Carrie Ann Inaba noted:

"That was a fantastic way to start this night."

Derek Hough noted that it was a sizzling performance, and Elaine was the salsa queen. They received a total of 36 out of 40. The next pair was Robert Irwin and Witney Carson.

Tom mentioned that Robert had grown into a star. DWTS judge Derek said that he was the beacon of joy for the generation. Fellow judge Bruno said that Robert's performance was a poetic and touching tribute.

"That was beautiful, it was poetic and touching tribute. I could not take my eyes off of you," mentioned Bruno Tonioli.

Robert and Witney received a perfect score, 40, from all three judges and the guest judge, Tom Bergeron.

The next pair on Dancing With The Stars was Andy Richter and Emma Slater. They performed Robbie Williams' Puttin' on the Ritz. Judges applauded Andy's efforts. Tom said that he loved the quickstep. Their total score was 29 points.

The next up was Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach. Seeing their amazing dance, DWTS judge Carrie Ann Inaba recalled her former favorite Argentine tango, Gilles Marini. She noted that Dylan and Danielle exceeded Gilles' tango. Fellow judges Derek mentioned the performance was astonishing, while the two delivered effortless lifts.

"You were not dancing tonight, you were starring. It's not what you do but the way you do it," said Bruno.

Dancing With The Stars' Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa performed a Chacha. Judges enjoyed their free-style performance and noted the texture and subtle details from the performance. Bruno called it sexy Chacha, while Tom mentioned that it was really hot there.

Carrie Ann mentioned Jordan's strong dance, which was also a bit wild throughout their performance. Their total score was 37. Alix Earle and Val delivered a foxtrot dance routine.

"Clean, classic, smooth, sophisticated, style, and flawless," noted Tom.

Bruno mentioned he felt as if he had entered the ballroom heaven. He also called the performance a sophistication of Hollywood's golden age. Alix and Val also received a perfect score in the latest episode. The last one was Whitney Leavitt and Mark Balls, another perfect score performance.
