Robert alongside his dancing partner and choreographer Witney Carson, delivered an emotional performance. According to the episode's theme, the performance was dedicated to Robert's mom.
In his October 15, 2025, interview with Good Morning America, Robert Irwin opened up about being a child of a single mom and his latest performance. He hoped that his performance would help someone, and it would bring attention and recognition to moms.
Opening up about his performance and struggles moms go through, Robert shared:
"And honestly, if...if nothing else, all I hope is that, this helps someone out there. You know, if it brings a little bit more attention and recognition to mums around the world and to single parents around the world who have to work so hard just to try and keep on foot in front of the other, to keep going forward. It's so so tough."
He added:
"But, as a child of a single parent, I just want to say thank you. And I'm so grateful that I got to do that."

Dancing With The Stars Season 24 Episode 5 was released on October 14, 2025. DWTS featured participants in a Dedication Night theme performances.
One of them was Robert Irwin and his dance partner, Witney Carson. While judges applauded his performance, the audience also cheered and got emotional. Robert's dance number was dedicated to his mom, who was also cheering for him from the audience.
In his latest interview with Good Morning America, Dancing With The Stars' Robert opened up about his Dedication Night performance:
"It was really tough to actually come out and...and see that whole performance through because like the emotion was just so high and...and I had Whitney covering my ears while the package was playing because it's just...what my mum means to me and...and the way in which she's led our family through so many ups and downs."
He added that he had been through a lot of emotions, which he had been unable to express in the past. He noted that it was hard but beautiful. Robert also thanked his choreographer and partner Witney Carson. He told her that he was able to express a sense of gratitude through the performance.
"So thank you for giving me that gift. It was amazing. Thank you," he told Witney.
When asked to share a message to his family sitting in the audience, Robert shared that he was incredibly grateful for them. He mentioned that seeing them in the crowd gave him strength.
Robert added that it had been him, his mom, and his sister for a long time and that it had been hard. He was happy that he would honor his family through his latest performance.
